I think you already know this but in the newest version, the infested terran doesn't seem to count and whenever you get it and spawn it says "You have died, respawn in 8 seconds" and your infie stays alive, so you could do that over and over for like 5 minutes and end up getting 40 infesteds and kill them with a swift blow.

Yea well, with 023b, when you have 900 minerals and buy 5 marines, 4 medics, and one observer and you spawn them, you get the "You have died, 8 second til respawn" thing, bet ya didn't know that. smile.gif

Okay, here comes Beta 025. I put out 024 on Bnet, but not here, so I'll give you info on both.

Beta 024
» Evolution Chambers added for Spore Colonies.
» Plague cost increased to 85.
» Consume cost increased to 25.
» Set energy to 0 in pre-deploy area.
» Fixed SOME spawn bugs during combat.
» Location fix, creep colonies included in battlefield.
» Free obs hero replaced with second comsat.

Beta 025
» Zealot HP/shields correction... they were at 80/80 instead of 60/100, which was the value since several patches ago.
» Terrain on the right side of the battlefield. Only one boring temple now.
» Adjusted build times on Colonies
» Creep Colonies cost descreased to 50, Spore/Sunkens are 100.
» Shield Battery cost reduced to 100.

I think Zerglings are a bit rigged. They barely give any points and they own almost all ground units in early game tongue.gif

I like the fact that zerglings are used a lot, because, hardly anyone micros in that game, and zerglings, believe it or not, require a lot of micro for both the person getting lings and the other person.

Usually, if you just try and make them attack a groun ranged units you get killed if they macro. Goliaths rip them to shreads biggrin.gif. But then if you do it the smart way and trap them then you win. This game is basicaly all depending on the owner if you are going to win easily or not.

Zerglings, like all other units, has its pros and cons. For one thing, they're great at ripping apart a base. They're quick, and can tear apart ground units earlier on in the game. Goliaths lack the firing rate in the beginning to rip apart zerglings. But by the end of the game, zerglings can hardly touch a mass of goliaths. Zerglings are also cannon fodder to nearly anything that has a quick firing rate (marines and medics), or have splash (lurkers, firebats, templars, reavers to an extent). It always depends on who controls the units though.

Man you need to fix the spawn issue for late game. Just played a 2 hour 3v3 Uberena, most the time only about half the shit would spawn because of so many units, the rest of the units would stay in that one area until respawn.

Yeah, maybe I can have the move trigger run twice.

Anyway, I'm toying with an idea. Minerals and heroes are no longer based on kill scores. You earn points by occupying the enemy Overmind's area uncontested. Think about it: All units are viable, since point values no longer matter. TK is rendered useless. In fact, team killing hurts the team that does it, because they lose those units. Tell me what you think of it.

That sounds a whole lot better than the way it is now. I like the sound of this a lot more, now 2v4 won't benefit you because the extra kills won't matter.

I say keep the score system as it is. Many impatient public players will get frustrated and leave. I would keep the killing = points thing.

Moose, I seriously have NO idea why scourges are at a retarded build state. Really expensive and slow build time, at least minus 75 minerals from the cost, or make it fast build time. Jeez. 4 scourges is like 900 minerals I think, holy crap.
