Well, I'm hoping to improve Uberena for everybody, so I figured I should give everybody a chance to tell what they think.

Thoughts
1. Reorganize the scores where cash amounts get increased. They need to be spaced more evenly.
2. More heroes. smile.gif (assuming I make the changes below, especially the heal)
3. Make the +2500 Minerals change amounts depending on the length of the game, this way it would still remain useful later on.
4. Remove the 200->250 energy upgrades. This stops people from camping corners to whore up energy.

Suggestions for Heroes
1. Kill the 70% Overmind heal, and simply make it 100% costing TWO heroes.
2. Kill off the (2) Free Observer hero, replace it with a second Comsat. I find a free Observer to decrease the power of cloaked units and the element of surprise far too much.
3. I'm also thinking of some kind of different hero... maybe something truly useful like a pair of invicible Infested Terrans.
4. Kill off some hero and make a +$150 minerals per spawn hero... this would definitely cost two heroes.

And, if you think something here is unbalanced,

Maybe, before the start of the game, you can chose game length, which will reflect on the starting HP and heal HP amount on your overmind.

YAYA!!!! Awesome!

Anyway, i kind of disagree with the 2 hero 100% heal thing, but not so much that i'll go crazy over it. I like the idea of more heroes. I just really cant find anything i dont like...

Well, one thing you should do is make it so when you life off your buildings they dont go boom forever... (i click fast) But once again, nothing i would go crazy over.

Well, I think that the nuke is a bit unfair sometimes. It is, many times, the deciding factor of the game(or, at least, in most games I played tongue.gif). Maybe make them more expensive, take longer for nuke to reach ground, or make it do less damage(like 70% of Ovvie health)? That would balance it out a bit.

Other than that, I think the changes are good. biggrin.gif

UH, what's the point of having the drone in the first place? It can only build a creep*, and in order to do that, it needs creep. The only creep availble is the creep the overmind is on. Besides, I think terrans should be able to build bunkers, protoss are able to build pylons, and zerg are able to build sunkens.

*I don't know if it can build a sunken, since I haven't been able to build a single creep colony

There are random 2x2 tiles of creep spread throught the map for that reason.

Invincible Infested terrans would be the same as Do X amount of DMg to enemy overmind. There's no risk in this.

When you lift your buildings they die for a reason. You can't jut lift off and then land your building in the middle of the map, it'd be unfair.

Nukes don't do 70% dmg, they do 69% damage as I've tested before. Yes Nukes do decide many games that I've played but there are many risks in dropping a nuke:

1) They cost 2 heroes
2) You need to wait 10 seconds before the nuke drops
3) The only place to shoot a nuke without getting easily spoted is on the cliffs and everybody knows that
4) The Nuclear launch Detected message gives out your position
5) You have 10 seconds to heal your Overmind before the Nuke and after the Nuke, meaning that Nuke only catches players which aren't paying attention to everything.

I haven't seen any creep, except for the creep that is out side the arena (near the hives)

I think the Nuke is balanced, for the reason Beer_Keg stated. Also, there's always the obvious solution, just hitting the kill all hero.

As for Creep, there are 2x2 Creep terrain spots throughout the map... they don't function as creep though.

Fix the glitches, like the ones that DK can do, unallying, and using drones to kill all the buildings.

I think you should take away Stasis thing... and recall should be cheaper since it doesnt have much effect unless with reavers, and using the kill zone should take away 25% of mineral for next respawn...

They mean that when the buildings lift off they don't come back. It's unfair and stupid, if you click a wrong button you lose, what, five units?

Is there anything you press "l" for besides lifting off?

Any building that CAN lift off doesnt' even have a letter that comes close to the "l" in units anyway. I don't see how any "accidental clicks" can be valid as an excuse for this...

Healing is what makes games so long. You should make it something that they save for, but once you use it, you're sacrificing having something else of greator value, just to stay in the game. Yet, you should only be actually capable of getting it once or twice in the game. I have never actually stayed for an entire uberena match, because its always taken too darn long. Prehaps you can even have a heal disabled game mode.

To add onto what yoshi said...

maybe make it a option that is disabled if everyone in the game, or a majority of the players want it to be disabled, then healing the overmind will be disabled. If this option is disabled by the majority of the players, and someone uses a hero to heal their team's overmind, then their hero is returned to that player. I know this can be done; I have done something similar.

I can't believe you guys are trying to take out Nuke!
I nuked my enemies like 4 times!
Anyways, I think what he means by the +150 is that you would get a 150+ mineral everytime you are spawned.
I don't get how you upgrade though...

Maybe you can revive heroes?

This would be really fun it was made into a mod.

Well if there is a beacon to revive heros won't you might as well just buy another one?

ADDITION:
Oh and if you really incorperate the heal over mind cost two Zeratules can you make it so two of your team goes on it then it can heal instead if making it only 1 person on the team has to use two. That is, if you were never planing to do it like that.

Okay, the reason i lift my buildings all of the time is because i click VERY VERY fast. And-

i hotkey my bunker 1.
I hotkey my comast station 2

And i like to hotkey my units. Obviously 3 and/or 4. BUT im so used to doing 1, i hotkey them 1, and then after 5 minutes, i build 20 marines, hotkey 1, and quickly press the corner.(unload all) BUT SINCE nothing is hotkeyed anymore, i end up staying on the terran building, and lift off. Ive lost the entire terran race one time because of this one time. Just make it so the building comes back please.

Also, make health 1 hero, 50% heal. Its overused, but it needs to be one hero when u are about to die.

Another possibilty would be to just take off heal and have a set of "lives" meaning how many times the overmind can die then you finally lose.

Here's a tip:
Hotkey bunker as 0 so you can quickly reach the "u" button.

Hotkey the scanner as 3 or 4, depending on the number of units you usually get so you can quicly reac the "s" button.

1,2 and/or 3 are reserved for units. +)

I have a question that I don't want to risk trying.

When I hotkey my bunker (which I do all the time) I don't usually look at the ghost to unload so I sometimes might click the firebat by accident. Anyways if you use the +2500 hero and you make the units and if you click the firebat to remove all your units so you can remake them, do you still get the 2500 minerals?
