Hmm.
First off, I saw something about black being enslaved. Well, guess what, every race has been enslaved at one point in time.
Also, the ghettos. What about Europe? In the UK, there really aren't many ghettos. Why? Because the people there do work to get out of them and make them better.
And we do have things to help the poor. Welfare. But guess what? Alot of people use money that they might get from having extra kids to buy drugs, things for themselves, ect.
And you say it's because the minorities are oppressed. As far as I can see, most minorities make it fine in this world. Asians, Indians, Middle Easterners, all oppressed, yet they all do fine. In fact, even some of the races that are considered stupid than the rest still have those people who end up with a great job and money.
In fact, from what I've seen, whites are becoming one of the more lazier races. They blame everything on everyone else, eg. "The immigrants stole my job!": Yeah, no they didn't, you were to lazy to get it or too crappy to keep it.
And on this:
QUOTE
You're born in a world with the odds stacked against you. The system is set up for the majority to succeed, and the minority to fail. Your parents live from paycheck to paycheck, barly getting by (working poor, ie: everyone in a ghetto). One unexpected expense and they are in debt. The debt's interest is only adding insult to injury. Your school supplies (books, pens, calculators, etc) are hard to come by, and all that you can achieve with all of this is a high school diploma. College is too expensive. Your high school diploma won't get you a better job. You work all day at ****ty minimum wage jobs. Your have become another working poor. Your only hope for wealth is an illict organization of drug trade (or to become a basketball player). You are the average black man born in America.*
Guess what? That describes my life, in a way. Although richer now than before, I'm doing fine in my life right now, and I was back then. I used some of my money to learn. I paid for almost all of my computer, and everything on it that I'm going to use for my career.
