I admit that I was a bit skeptic about the whole situation. I just remembered how NR was more of the laid back prankster type of person and wasn't sure what to think. The avataurs and signitures did get out of whack. But if I did anything to affend anybody to offend anybody or if somebody thought I disrespected NR, then I apologize because that wasn't my intentions.

You can flip everything so it looks bad. In funeral people eat and drink, does it mean they celebrate someones death.

Anyway, I feel extremely insulted by this. I will not proceed on this argue as it is disgusting to me....

Eating and Drinking is not the equivalent to playing a game. How does Eating and Drinking relate to a party? It doesn't! They're necessities.

Well, well, well, this sure has boiled up. First off, I'm curious as to who even APPROVED that news post on the tournament. I like how in the PM to PCFredz DEAD says he wasn't going to post anything until he got me backing it, thanks for shifting blame to me.

Anyway, I never knew nuclear personally. You'd probably notice I never "offered condolences" or "paid my respects". Some of you might find this apalling, but let me ask you this: Do you walk into a stranger's funeral and break down crying? I don't think so... there might be a few of us who would, but they wouldn't be serious. I looked over nuclear's posts, most of them were in the "What are you listening to?" or generally just in the Null forum, places I don't spend much time. While I do respect him/her as an SEN member, this is not enough for me to pretend I meant something more to him/her. Does this mean I don't wish that she rest in peace because I didn't say anything? No. Does it mean that wishing she rest in peace is wrong? No. It means that unless we were one of her close personal friends, it should be limited to wishing that she rest in peace. It means that my respects, as well as most of us, should be paid in private reverence, not as part of a competition to be the biggest mourner or do the most to "honor his/her memory".

Seriously, Deathknight, sometimes you need to grow up. Can you prove she didn't? No. I thought not. We can't ask her, so we try to do what we THINK she would have wanted.


Do you seriously think Nuclearrabbit would be happier if we had a sad funeral and went home crying? Unless she wishes us harm, I would think she would prefer we remember her in a more 'happy' environment.

Maybe DEAD was wrong in being a bit laid back after it, but it doesn't mean he didn't think of nuclearrabbit. Would you rather he hosted this tournament without mentioning Nuclearrabbit at all, in the same day she died? Or not host this tournament at all?

It's not exactly 'celebrating their death'. It's more like 'playing in memory'.


Its not exactly like that. A stranger you don't know anything about. Most of us have had a conversation or at least talked to Nuclearrabbit before.

Conclusions..
Moose, DK, Cheese and other people think I did wrong.
I, Silver, people who joined thinks I did right.
Can't really say what is right/wrong when it come to this. You can back it up with almost everything in both sides.
While I still think I did nothing wrong I apologize for that I may have dishonored nuke in your eyes.

Now can I please have my tourney back?

Hey man, I think after all that's happened, your tourney will have to be the exception. You can still put it together, that's cool, but there would be way too much flaming if Moose put it back on the front page.

I am not responsible that people flame. Anyway, if this nice argue will stop I can remove nuke's remembrance from the post.

But it is still a non-mapping tourny.. But meh, I think it should still be front page news as long as it has a prize.

I don't remember saying I supported anything. Just because there IS a tournament, doesn't mean it automatically gets front page.

I dont see why it cant have front page, its about nuke isnt it?
