I comeforth not as a friend, administrator, or member of the site. I comeforth as a human being, extremely offended by the conduct of how people (by "people", I don't mean pointing your fingers at DT_BK, I mean everybody who participated) handled the death of a member of this website, nuclearrabbit.
Some of you are speculating that it might be a prank or joke. As I have said before: death, is no joke. Apparently almost everybody at SEN has no shame, as events over the past few days of handling the loss of the SEN family doesn't appear to have any effect as everybody is acting like a complete idiot.
I know someones going to think that someone guessed the password to my account or is using some sort of spoofing technique to pretend to be Yoshi_da_Sniper. This post contains EXACTLY what I think. I am aware I have left but I after seeing the heartless actions of many of the people here, I have decided to truthfully express my feelings.
First off, WHY IN THE **** WOULD YOU CAPITALIZE ON THE DEATH OF A MEMBER OF THESE BOARDS? Yes. I'm sure nuclearrabbit would of wanted a tournament in her memory, or how about various signatures created by ripping off her avatar? If a friend or family member died, would you start hosting starcraft tournaments or creating photoshop signatures and avatars in honor of them? NO! You all absolutely miss the point. I'm pretty sure her friends and family are pretty much sickened by the heartless actions of people here. Whats even worse, is I haven't seen the current administration or moderation staff step in and take action. They actually find this acceptable...
"Showing respect" does not mean "spreading complete lies and sarcasm". I see some random person posting something like "I'm crying myself to sleep everyday" or "omg is it true lol" is not respectful. The sad thing is, these people didn't even know nuclearrabbit. I sure hope none of her family or friends were reading the kind of garbage you guys put up, because it was nothing but sarcasm and lies, from all of you. You cannot get anymore disrespectful if you treat the ones who know the deceased like complete idiots.
Honestly, I made the site, I have seen it grow, I have seen it have some good times. This my friends, is the end. We have passed the peak and it now appears that the site is in a decline, because apparently all the people I knew who had common sense are now gone or not very active. Nobody is left but apparenty people who have no clue how to treat serious situations.
As of now, a lot of the respect I had for many people is gone. There are like one or two people who treated the situation like it should have been in the first place. My message for you, is that you should step up and tell people what they are doing is WRONG. I think my future visits will be more infrequent and shorter in length now. I just can't believe the way people acted.
By the way. I notice that everytime I make a post like this, the people who applies to apparently change their additudes so fast and attempt to look smart or cool. Just for once, spare me. Pretty much everybody is gulity. What you should do instead, is reflect on the action, REALIZE there is something morally wrong with the actions of people here, identify future problems and speak up/take action about them. It is far too late to fix the damage that has already been done.
I completely agree here. I have been here almost since the beginning, and I have never seen such insulting acts. I'm pretty sure most people would be banned long ago if they started posting anything like this. First of all, all the avatars and pictures just smacks of "let's all join the bandwagon". Even in the topic about her death, people start joking around, and act like goddamn ass holes. This sound familiar to you idiots? "*Removes hand from pants* Well shizta. You just ruined the moment, thanks -_-" You might as well start spitting on her grave. Is that what SEN has degraded into? A bunch of goddamn moron making lewd "jokes" when someone has DIED?! And the even worse part is that other people followed up on this as well. And no moderator or admin even commented on this at all. This shameful behaviour is acceptable on this forum?
Ah yes, the CTF tournament. I must agree with Mini Moose. I completely fail to see the how the tournament "honours" nuclearrabbit. Maybe if it's a map that she made, or one that she played a lot, it would've even made any sense at all. But now, it just look like an attempt to use the death of a member to promote one's map. As for "representing" nuclearrabbit in the tournament, is there no end to your depravity? You all seem to treat this as a big farking joke. Are you people immature lemmings or immoral bags of filth?
This is the first time I hear about this, and I would have never expected this from SEN. Taking death as a joke isn't funny - It makes you all look like complete idiots, and it destroys the reputation of the forums.

I think it is the case here that, unless am I remembering this mistakenly, DEAD had been planning to have a tournament at least two days prior to the recent developments.

Well then, that doesn't make it any better. That makes it sound like 'no one wanted to join...hey look! Advertising! Dedicated to NuclearRabbit!,' which, is so distasteful, I shake at the very thought that someone would do that. The fact that he was planning to hold it, and then decided to dedicate it...is...dispicable.
Yoshi, hearing anybody die from a brain tumor is pretty sad, expecially when her last shoutbox post was a joyful one, makes it look like she didn't know she was going to die. Also, whats wrong with the signatures? They are in place to remember the person who died. You know, like a tatoo of a son/daughter or something..
Anyway, I saw the posts in the threads, there are a lot of random people saying they're sad, but the majority visited SEN consistantly, and they read NR's posts.
Also, about the tournament.. I myself think it's a bad idea.. The only relationship I can give is NR played Starcraft, and the tournament will be played on Starcraft.
to me (my oppinion) death is not all that serious. i mean everyone is going to drop dead eventually no need to celebrate becuase that person is dead. (EX)
"OMG minigame just died yesterday, lets all make a map and a tournament becuase he was a great guy and all". to much damn drama in this place, and i thought this place brings happy and joy
you people just need to calm down and be yourself.
i do respect nuke but just dont push it over the limit.

I think you may have read that wrong.
I meant two days prior as in he was contemplating the idea before the 28th, not that he had a failed attempt on the 26th or something and then used this to rebound the tournament.
My apologies to DEAD if I've got this wrong, but I'm fairly certain it was mentioned.
That still isn't any better. However, I refuse to argue that until DEAD shows up to make a statement. It is only fair, but if I am correct...
...dispicable.
I can practically taste the venom dripping off your tongue.
If only you knew the full irony behind that statement, dear.
that had to be intended, seriously
Yoshi, this is an online forum filled with 100's of random people, mature people, retarded people, little kids, etc.
ofcourse people would post immature crap. nobody can stop them. death is not really taken seriously here, because people lie alot online.
Oh, great way to desensitize everyone to death. And how is watching the WTC fall any different? There are millions of people in this world, why should I care about one? People make up crap about terrorists anyways, its bound to be fake.
WRONG, Vizual, dead. wrong.
how's that for cryptic bolded message.

which equals just a waste of space.
moslty the retarted and immature people.
I was lead by report back to the last pages of the original Null thread and I was disgusted. As Yoshi said, death is no joking matter.

but why are you letting these people host tournaments, and making maps about it or even making sigs and advatars?
Everyone should get off Yoshi's wang and say something with honesty.
EDIT: Hah, still with the filters.
plz ignore my last post, i agree with yoshi i guess, even though its an online forum, u get to know someone really well through time. I guess SEN should act more maturely towards a member's death. but as i said, some people dont take things seriously, putting things into mind.
i put it into mind, and im sorry for that..

How should have everyone acted then? I say this as a question of honesty more so then what is right from wrong.

If you think you're not guilty, then don't bother posting in this thread. You're no "higher moral being" than the rest of us.
