Um hello? We could do it if we had a few billion years... Ever heard of the Human Genome Project?
So... the Amino Acids just magically develope into life? And yes I have heard of the project, it doesn't really relate all that well except what they tried to find out.
yea it does. WAY BACK IN TIME. Our earth did not contain oxygen enough to sustain Humans! But it had enough Carbon Dioxide to sustain some form of life. The Amino acids and the Carbon Dioxide with alot of heat had some chemical reaction. "CHEMICAL REACTION?! OMGZ THATS LIKE EVERYTHING IN OUR BODY DID YOU KNOW THAT." so it created the first cells. and the cells got bigger and bigger until it formed fishes and plankton.
You say it created a cell, but how eh? A cell has smaller parts in it. So you're telling me a magical chemical reaction that we can't prove now created life? We can't even prove that the first life forms were even carbon based.
A prokaryote cell gulped another (Mitochondria) and it became an endosymbiosis. The mitochondria inside the prokaryote had an advantage to have cellular respiration (Same w/ chloroplasts)...

1. Life isn't "special"... Ever heard of coacervates? They are EASY to make, but has cellular functions... I think it's either reaction to environment or has a membrane...
2. You know life can thrive in places where u can't even imagine
I remember wut the holes in evolution are called! I believe they're called "missing links"
stalingrad. learn science. learn religion. the cells were created by chemical reaction. yes its not magical, don't be dumb. if i had any expertise in bio-engineering i would tell you all about it. but I don't and you don't either. now read a science book about how the first life developed and grew. maybe it'll help you more than just argue.
I don't beleive you need religion.
Yeah but how does that get made? You still need the basics to start out with. Lithium says a chem reaction to create it. That's nice, now explain the reaction and how it works to form everything.
Wow, I don't care where life thrives, well I do.... but I care how it came to be in this thread.
If there was a book that was right on the subject about it, do you think the world would still be doing experiments to prove it? Do you think that we would even be talking about it right now? Don't you think that professors would then teach it as a fact and not a theory?
My Science teach told our class that science is nothing but a best guess system to try and explain things. She was right D;
You don't "need" religion, but it's nice w/ it, cuz people treat you the way you want... I guess that's a want, not a need. Even though I am religious, I can't stand ppl that say sceince is wrong...
ADDITION:

theory
Theory in the world of science does not mean the same thing as the one ppl use eveyrday...
Did I say science is wrong? No I said a subject that's part of science is wrong.
Sorry, not wrong, has its flaws.
it is just mankind's way of using logic to explain the things around us...
Like all science is logic to me and makes sense, but the way life is created (the way science explains it) doesn't to me, neither does the creation of the universe. This is why I believe in god/have faith and what not.

Not really, pretty much the same thing. There are laws/theories. Just like... Rules of Science/Predictions of Science.
I believe in God not for knowledge, but just to tell somebody about my day. Somebody that will listen to me and understand no matter what I say or do... Someobyd that forgives me for my wrongdoings. I could care less if ppl think he's not real. As long as it benefits me. Yeah, I'm selfish.
Personally, everything I stand for says it's wrong.
And a part of me says it's wrong.
But after a couple events...I must admit that I believe in it. I don't live as relgiously as I should, I don't go to church, but I do pray. It may not be "God" in the Christian/Catholic sense, but there is DEFINATELY something out there that's higher than me controlling a few of the things I do
I am religious as shown in like... my last 10 posts. I don't believe you need chruch at all in religion. So don't think you aren't fufilling your religious duties. Lol, haven't gone to church for a while...
I personally don't beleive you need church to be with God.
Group worship is much different than being alone, and...
I used to not believe in God, but I've had a few experiences where I...
Well nevermind, a few things happened to me and I knew that it wasn't ME in control, nor was it me making me react as well as I did.
And don't look at me the wrong way, I'm not saying science is wrong and relgion is right. I'm saying personally I believe in God. But I beleive in science. And the church did some REALLY dumb stuff a while ago. ie. witchburnings, crusades, claiming science is heresy...ugh...dumb shiz.
And stalingrad i agree with you on that.
Don't forget the complete destruction of the pagan religion, the thousands of misconceptions about things today, and the negative light of other religions just for other beliefs.
i suppose i forgot "etc"
The offenses from the church can go on for so long it isn't funny.
selling indulgences still makes me laugh and thank god i dont go to church.
you don't need church to be religious. "Faith and Moral" is all the things that make you a religious person.

Funny thing is, religion does the exact same thing. They're the same, except for one little difference. Science uses a much much MUCH better way to prove stuff.
But the irony is that people say science is exact. But it's only a best guess system.
the irony thing is. science is better accurate than your opinions. kkthx gg no re.

Who says that? Not anyone knowledgeable. Even my Science teacher says it is not.
Once again:

Science is still a best guess system, I'm not talking about ions/elements/atoms and all that good stuff. But theories that explain more complicated things.

hey... you're on the periodic table... shut up, no one likes that element >:/
