Ha.... okay can I clarify my meaning on 100 triggers?

okay firstly.. if youre using more then 750 triggers on anything... you are definitely wasting a whole bunch of time and can be termed as an inefficient map maker...

what I mean by this is.. for example a map known as Golems. An inefficient map maker would create 100 triggers to create 1 civilian per 25 kills as a reward, and allows for them to create hero golems. an efficient map maker would create a [Hyper Trigger] and create [1 TRIGGER] as [current player kill score is exactly 25/create unit, set score, preserve]... so in this example... the inefficient maker used 100 triggers while an efficient maker used 2... thats a 50:1 trigger ratio...

secondly... ANYONE can make a map with 1024+ triggers... can you say: [hold alt+COPY]!?

And finally, to clarify my meaning on 100 triggers for a map....
im using a simplified version of triggers that calls upon subroutines and loops to do things... if you take into account these loops... the bounds I create have over 3000 triggers... so shuddup... I can do these loops (all unique tho.. not create unit, preserve) within 200-300 triggers... all unique too. like for d)R(agon_Bound_3 in its progression mode.. it randomly creates intervals for obs for each location while taking into account its no-kill phase, kill phase, and double phase accordingly. but not only that... after each progression (10 intervals) it adds an additional handicap that either increases speed, slows speed, adds more explosions, blockades, whatever... STILL within the current loop... im using a triggering system I created called the 'Triple Accumulate' trigger method...

SO LESS IS DEFINITELY MORE, anyone can brag and say they got 2000 triggers on their map... id definitely applaud them... not for how many triggers they got... but how much friggin time they spent on creating them... GJ... now read about triggers and loops before you create another map... you're definitely wasting time... read the other SEN forums about trigger secrets and you can ask me if ud like... id be glad to help you.

saying any map is easy to make. is saying ALL maps are easy to make...

oh and... I can make other types of maps... JUST LEMMIE FINISH THESE BOUNDS REALLY QUICK!... im planning on creating a series of other maps... unique of course... I can't stand the same maps over and over.

Except i require this 1000 triggers on my Civilization map and you'll not be able to argue against it. I'm using the quickest methods to do things and it still takes me a long time. Bounds can be made to be impressive with time, effort and thought as well as adding special features which affect the gameplay to improve, not just because you can.

Look guys, I'm just as fed up with bounding as you all are but you don't have to torment Red2Blue... He has had some good works, give him a break. His passion is bounding let him enjoy it.

Hos bounds ka. Some of the only bounds I play... I don't play many bounds. lol I generally dislike bounds though because most of them are all the same obstacles.

I just had a thought though. Wouldn't it be possible to use random switches so a bound would be different from the last time you played it? I just thought that would be interesting.

I wasn't bragging, I was doing the same thing bolt did. (Assuming that you thought I was) Then I just defended myself when you guys thought I was full of censored.gif . If you think I was full censored.gif about that, i'm not even gonna mention the password system.

secondly, i love it when people tell me to shuddup, and talk down on me. It just makes my day.

I think Red2Blue is an excellent boundmaker

Is there a trigger counting program?
I doubt you counted the triggers for Death Knights 3  ermm.gif

Yeah, convert the triggers to text using GUedit then paist the text in MSword. Use Find and Replace to replace the header of each trigger with something else. It will then tell you how many replacements it made.

Vala! A way to count hundreds of triggers in a few minutes.

PS. I posted a tutorial here but it was removed from some stupid 20 minute reset.

Thanks for the great comments =') ...

esp. aE[Fortune]

But... bounding isn't really my passion... I can barely beat any lvs in my bounds...
its not the actual map type that I make that is my passion... My passion is in the creation of something... you know? like... a great feeling at the end of your master creation that makes you feel great... not that you have made something great, but... you have created something for EVERYONE to enjoy... thats the greatest joy I have from creating maps... and its pretty exciting to see your own maps hosted not on your will... =D

and Coko...

Run by me what the map is about... I think I can help make it less triggers... 1000 is alot...

and you guys.... PLEASE RUN SPELL CHECK!...
