LoL if u ask me just leave the map alone? i was looking at the triggers a few weeks ago and the first thing that poped into my head was: "holy shiz!, how the hell did you manige this???" LoL! anyway! i was wondering, do you plan on having the races i.e zerg and terran competing over a resource point? there could be a smaller force attacking to a resource point with a few scvs, and while they are making it a zerg army could come and blow the crap out of it and start making a base and then a protoss dragoon army comes and farks up the zerg base (and eventully some player helps there team controlls the point for a amount of time and they get it) So when they get it men start spawning and maybe the terran get a level or the protoss win something or the zerg get reputation. just an idea....

1. Starforge helped a bit since the uncommented triggers take up no space
2. With a severe limit on locations, I may use a normal Campaign script and see how that turns out.
i think more balancing is needed against like building vs unit...
and some more stuff to do maybe...
donno tahts how i feel like a little..
Freaking awesome.. Playing maps like these just inspires me to go make something.. hehe...
Cheese.
8/10
awsome but some flaws like always but again not final version..
sometime defence is way to strong...
bam 1 hit your dead
Awesome. Not as an RPG, because its simply «kill everything and lvl up», but as an action/advanture game its great. Its hard at begginning, newbs get lost easily, theres lag, no player interaction, its not an RPG at all when you own zergs, it get boring at the end, but at least theres the fun of blowing things up. I give it an 7/10.
Yeah, I started with an RPG and went of on a tangent somewhere along the way...
I love this map, even though it lost its rpg factor is still kicked ass! the zerg are just so much fun to play, but i reckon every side needs a starting mission to let em catch up to the SC WORLD! WOOT!
I'd say
Majesty RPG is much smoother in gameplay, just as feature-rich, and can have 5 people playing (full house) without any lag!
But of course, Majesty was based on Majesty, not Starcraft, and the whole atmosphere will be completely different.
Holy shiz! i remember playing majesty when i was younger... a sc map? thats a huge shock! I so wanna play the sc version!!!
How do you get to executor rank as toss? I trainined in every units and im still judicator.

Hero a unit and go up the levels.
I have found 2 bugs with cybernetic core:
1: The help do not work
2: when you buy a hero goon, the game dosent substract 5000 from you mineral amount... yay, free unpgrades!

And Ultimo found 18 with the game in general. -_-
WoS3 has been mostly a remake of the elements of WoS1 (which was dropped after Mission 2): specifically, 3 distinctive races with separate interfaces and gaming styles. Unfortunately this backfired on me because of the immense number of triggers needed that caused absolutely unbearable lag. As I said before, if you want a bug-free RPG made by me with similar interfaces and styles, check out
Majesty, which should remind many of you of WoS2.
I'm not trying to sound like I'm giving up on WoS3, because I will still continue to fix it... just not very often.
I FINALLY updated the map.
Now there are 2 versions in a zip file available in the DLDB, a normal one and a protected one. The protection isn't as much for its actual protection as the reduction in file size.
As to real improvements to the map, I've fixed the glitch many complained about, where units clump after the destruction of outposts. Also the miscellaneous Hero Scout problem Ultimo mentioned... a couple months ago.
Enjoy!
It's Good
Great Job on the Map PCFredZ.
9/10 Yeah I have one thing Fred that you could of add during the in-game sequence. Because yesterday when I hosted it and played (I already know all the rules) the others all just got angry and left. It happens everytime. Newb or no noob. There should be a quick tutorial because they also skip the mission briefings thinking it was really WOS.
Why are we posting in a topic thats almost a Year old?

I'll put up a quick tip thing in the Mission Objectives explaining how to get started in each race.

Because the map was updated.
I would like to see missions in a future version, even if they're simple. They could be a matter of stealing an item from an enemy base, amassing a certain force, and the like. Fields of Xe'hran is an open RPG with factions and has missions. I'll email it to you if desired.
