I'm almost positive that each 'line' on the field is 6 feet in increment.

I have seen pictures and heard of crop circles where the wheat is wolven together, no human would be able to do such fine work on it in a night. Aliens could be trying to communicate, math is the universal language of the universe.

But mabey, they just like to show off how good of an artist they are. would you like to see my pretty picture

You under estimate humans then. Have you ever seen some of the crop circles that are done by somepeople that have done it for years?

Someone give me a good overhead picture of crops and I'll demonstrate that it's just as easy to make a complex pattern.

Okay, look at www.circlemakers.com
These people make crop circles AS THEIR JOB, and they make some of the most complex ones out there, in broad daylight, even.

yes we know that people can replicate crop circles.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Shapechanger on 2006-02-09 at 07:57:18
What's your proof they're replicates and not the real things, eh?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Sie_Sayoka on 2006-02-09 at 22:07:18
i didnt say what they were replicated from?

Math solves all problems.
With correct usage of math, we can easily draw out a design and simply create it.

Popped joints? Metal balls? Hell, just throw some on the ground, pop some joints. Pfft.
There's no telling what is imitation and what is real. It's all some huge consipracy. Im sure most crop circles that are currently existant are not real, however it is hard to believe that there are no aliens out there.

I would like to say however, that there is a very good book out there written by a government employee called The Pale White Horse, which could be or could not be real. Who knows. All I know is that 3 days after the sucessful release of this rare book the writer was assassinated. It talks a great deal about aliens and how the aliens were actually in contact with the government and making deals.

I would also like to say that if we put ourselves in the alien's position it wouldn't make sense. Sure they may want to have contact with us, but would they really go out of their way to slaughter thousands of cows, leave their imprints on the ground and ONLY do it at farms? What about open fields? Noooo! You don't see a single one there. Why is it that aliens leave such nice looking patterns on the ground yet expect their 100+ ton craft to fly around? Sure magnetic stuff but really now... does a pattern of a flower really make the craft fly? Why do aliens land in farms anyway? There are many other uninhabited areas where they can discretely land. I find it odd that nobody has ever seen an alien. It's just too rare? Aren't there reckless alien drivers who crash thier craft into the ground? Why hasn't alien technology advanced over time? They use the same magnetic fields to lift their craft for the past 200 years? Pfft, pluheeze.

Similar to crop circles, desert patterns can be found in the early days of the aztecs. There are dozens of patterns drawn into the desert that are HUGE in size and all depict pictures of various simplistic patterns, like spiders and birds.

I have to say however, the structures that were made in the old old days were unable to be made by manpower alone. They had help I tell you!

I would like to make it perfectly clear I beleive fully in the existance of extraterrestrials, just not that they make crop circles. All the evidence Red2Blue stated I support.

I'm sure there are many other civilizations out there, but I'm equally sure that crop circles aren't caused by extraterrestrials.

They would have no reason to smash down people's crops, whether into a pretty pattern or not.

However, most of the man made crop circles that were created were in farms actually made by the farmers themselves! Think of it this way:

"If I can bring attention to my farm, then I can make money off of the publicity."

Pure and simple. It's a ploy for money. Easy as that.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Sie_Sayoka on 2006-02-10 at 23:33:08
actually crop circles are more of a nuisance for the farmers. having the tourists come on your property and stand in your fields. its sure to lower the crops you can harvest. there is no way of farmers to get the money, they cannot make toll booths etc.

Why not?

Actually it does bring alot of popularity there.
Ever heard of land worth? Yea, ufo sightings and strange rare events INCREASE the worth of the land. Farms already cost a great deal of money to purchase. There are so many acres. With just one crop circle sighting... brings forth millions of dollars of land worth. That's profit right there sir. They make pity money with their farms compared to the net land worth increase.

There you have it. It's just a bunch of people seeking attention and/or money. Case closed.

The people that do it confessed. They used wooden planks with wire to hold it and they just made imprints in the fields. They even showed footage of them doing it.
