Please quote a post where I said no to having a Wiki on SEN, or that it was a bad idea. At worst, I find that I said "maybe on v5".

I'm not talking about "who gets credits on each page" I don't care about that.

This was on MSN with me, and LW. We were both telling you that a wiki was a good idea and that lw make it happen on the site. You were complaining about the possibilities of vandalism and lack of attention or some other garbage. Generally, just ignoring him. You've all of a sudden magically changed your opinion on that after hes fired.

History pages / Discussion pages.

Neither of them really give credit, or at least on WP, that credit could easily strech to thousands upon thousands of edits.

That's interesting. I've never talked to LegacyWeapon on any sort of instant messaging program.

therfore, just because LW was the first to implement the peoples idea of a wiki to replace the tutorials DB, does this mean that his wiki should be the only one. Did he copyright the idea of a map-making wiki?

QUOTE(Yoshi da Sniper @ Sep 17 2006, 09:54 PM)
You miss my point. LW was pushing to do this wiki thing. The entire time you were saying know because "you were the man". All of a sudden a very short time passes after he's fired, and you all of a sudden have a change of mind that 'wow this is a great idea everyone on sen loves it and is suggesting it but lw'. You're doing it only to spite him because he made something that you don't like.

It's like a guy has a million dollar idea, takes it to a company, the company says "no", he keeps pushing for it, and instead this company takes his idea and does whatever THEY want with it while leaving the guy with nothing. It's pretty damn low.

Look guys, he repeats himself yet again!

Yoshi, I told you already, Legacy did not start the wiki idea. Also, don't try to give me that "he pushed hard for it" crap. I tried to make a wiki way before him. So did shmidley.

Thats nice, he talked to you somehow, but even if he didn't, I did. And I told you how strongly he felt about it and spent a good 30 minutes debating with you. You can't tell me that we never had a conversation about it.

SEN rules still apply to you, buddy. Flame removed.

I did a search of wiki in my logs of all the conversations I've had with you on MSN (with both you current email and gmail one)... only two references to the word "wiki", one being me linking you to a Wikipedia article, the other being to http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Yoshi . I was always in support of a wiki, but was lazy (I was even starting to make the Tutorials DB for v5 in the style of a wiki way before the LW started). Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying there wasn't any spite in my motives... the spite just made me stop being lazy.

Talking back to me doesn't make you more popular with your SEN friends. You can't really be wrong on the subject of ethics, unless you have none, like yourself.

I maybe would of believed that LW had nothing to do with the decision to make the wiki before or way after he got fired, but it's literally like 10 days ago when he got fired. Especially since I knew what your stance was on the wiki before he got fired since you actually told me how much of a bad idea you thought it was, you can't expect anyone to believe that you all of a sudden supported this out of the blue.

Yes, lets play stupid now. I unfortunately format very often, expecially since I started school, but I know for a fact we had that discussion, and I know you couldn't of forgotten. You know what you did is wrong, scrambling it to make it appear like you're the helpless one.

Also, that wiki article rules.

Please tell me where I said this one, too. I said that it wasn't his idea, a far different thing. Considering I just admitted in my above post that spite destroyed my laziness.

So, he pushed to get it and on here and it is. I'm not stopping him from using it or contributing to it. Did he want a cookie or something? How does this make me owe him something?

You owe him the privileged of setting it up, maintaining it, and running it. It is what he wanted.

You can give all the cookies to me kk thx

That requires him to speak for himself, or at the very least sign up on the wiki. I'd be glad to have him running it, he's very smart and knowledgable. Plus, that's less work for me. Everybody wins out.

EDIT: I'm going to sleep. I'll debate tomorrow if you like.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Yoshi da Sniper on 2006-09-17 at 23:19:39
I'm sure he'd love to, but wait, YOU FIRED HIM FOR A STUPID REASON. So that obviously can't work, because he most likely wants to see this site die now.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by CheeZe on 2006-09-17 at 23:22:19
How does that stop Legacy from going to this wiki?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Yoshi da Sniper on 2006-09-17 at 23:22:49
I see you deleted your post moose. Oh well, heres my reply to that:

Yes, but this is where "ethics" falls into place. He doesn't necessarily have to run it, you could of asked him if he wanted to, and then at least mentioned that it was the idea he pushed for. Instead you censored random posts from random people to make it appear like he had nothing to do with this at all.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mini Moose 2707 on 2006-09-17 at 23:24:41
I deleted nothing, at worst you didn't see it because you viewed at the exact moment I was editing it. Quit your wild allegations, go back, and read.

You said something about how "its not your problem that he doesnt want to run it". Don't lie to me.
