Thats the thing, you already know the other side of the "case" about tolerance in Islam in school. I learned about it in International Studies AP. If you don't know the other side, then you could have easily asked me information about it....

And this topic is highly undebatable as I analyze. "Tolerance" is a standard which every person has it differently. I wonder what rational adults have to say.

You obviously missed the point that you only brought negative information, contradicting your subtopic. This topic is a flame, and it's turning into a flame against you, I suggest you close the topic as well.

All we can really construct out of this is, based on the information provided in the first post, Islam is not a tolerant religion. Unfortunately, the first post also creates no discussion room.

Moose, if you are basing your arguement that you know nothing, then your arguement is legit, you can only conclude that Islam is not a tolerant religion.
BUT
I assumed people on SeN (and you) were mature and intelligent enough to know FROM SCHOOL that there is a whole other peaceful side to islam. I assumed people knew that, and based on that assumption i introduced new material to talk about a different side of Islam that schools often mention very little or not at all.

I assume you know more then nothing about islam.... right?

Yes, we do know the other side, the point is you didn't provide it regaurdless and in doing so, you instantly let this turn into flames.

You assume incorrectly. I'm not trying to make a case for either side, just stating my opinion on your argument. For an argument most would construe as "fair", both sides of the argument should be provided. Otherwise people will generally percieve such an argument as biased.

We can't conclude this because there was no discussion in it.

This is going nowhere. You people need to stfu and stop pointing fingers at each other saying "OMG YOU FLAMED!" or whatever.
