I'm sorry for my inactivity as of late. If you didn't already know, I'm joining my Academic Decathlon team at my high school. We ranked 7th place in the nation last year, so the coaches are really getting on our cases about spending a lot of time studying so we can do better at the end of this year.
If you don't know what Academic Decathlon is, its like a team of smart people who compete with other schools to see who can memorize facts better. There are ten subjects: Super Quiz (this year its knowledge of the Italian Renaissance), Literature (Shakespeare), Art (Renaissance), Science (Physiology), Music, Economics, Math, Speech, Interview, and Essay writing. My strong points are the last three, so I really have to get better at the scholastic portion of the tests.
If you care at all, the site for more information is http://usad.org/. Basically it means I have no vacation at the price of a possible state or nation title. So now you guys know why I'm rarely on now.

Well I'm not one to boast or anything, but I'd say that I'm pretty smart. Lets just say I get an A on any piece of written work (essay, story, analysis) that I decide to turn in. I did really well on my PSATs (too lazy to take the actual SATs). I'm taking a lot of AP (college level) classes. And the coaches of our team kept telling me to join this because they know I'm a good speaker and I can give a good impromptu speech (basically the judges give you a topic, you think about it for exactly 60 seconds, and then you have to give a speech about it for a minute and a half).
