And for anyone who doesn't know the capability of blue ray discs, they are said to be able to hold up to 100GB of information. Current DVD's hold about 7GB max.

Blu-ray discs have around 35 gigs of space, not 100 gigabytes....DVD's hold about 4 gigs.
Or dual-sided DVD's (which xbox360 is going with, I think), about 15gigs.
I dont really see why Microsoft didnt go with blu-ray...those idiots.
Well, considering that Blu-rays are relatively new, so the cost per disc is multiple that of a DVD...Microsoft being less extravagent with their money? OMG, LiEk, ItS aRmaG3DoN!!!
ADDITION:
If Sony keeps up the backwards compatible thing, I think I'll just wait until Ps4 or even ps5 comes out.
Then I can play darkstone on a system with 1000x times more power than required! Then the load times would only be HALF an hour! Yesss...
Is it dependant on the game, or are load times shorter on the xbox? Not that it even really matters.

That was written by Microsoft? They got some facts wrong. The PS3 processor is far more powerful than the 360's combined 3.

Once again, is it just me, or did you completely ignore the entire post, except for the line claiming xbox360 is more powerful than ps3?
In my opinion, chu, you've developed a reputation for being pretty (insert word here for "not ignorant) You usually provide facts, interpret everything accordingly, and dont make assumptions. But all of the sudden you proclaim, with much dogma, "Nuh-uh! Ps3 is more powerful!" Come on, we need as many logical people on here as possible!! Too many "Xbox pwns! Nintendo suXx0rz! j00 noob!" people on here...
