And I will assume that Xbox 360 will fall just at bad as you said...

He never said Ps3 was gonna fall. He said that The ps3 is "trying to be too powerful" (which I disagree on with him. Too powerful? That's a load of crap. I think you just got upset that Sony took Microsoft's one great trait out from under them: the power advantage. You can't make a console TOO powerful, unless it's near "worldwide takeover" point. In which case you can freely say that it's too powerful.), and that if Blu-ray fails in the industry, Sony is going to take a very large hit in the wallet. Think of stocks: if you invest millions of dollars in a particular company, and it goes out of businnes within the next year or two, will you suffer a financial loss? Of course. But Sony isn't just buying stocks: most of their Ps3 games are going to be produced on blu-ray discs. And if blu-ray DOES die out quickly, then Sony will either have to forfeit their backwards-compatible trait, which is something that largely attracted me to the Ps2, (I had a very extensize library of PS games, and the idea that it would no longer be absolute made me very happy to shell out the money for a Ps2) or waste money on further consoles, keeping them compatible with outdated and dead technology. And thats just in the console race. Sony is also manufacturing an extensive line of blu-ray compatible electronics.
***Personally, I believe that Blu-ray WILL take hold as the standard data storage device. It can store dramatically more than the other contenders, i.e. HD-DVD, and at a fractionally higher cost. And once it DOES go large, it will start to mass produce their product, with costs dropping accordingly.

Xbox was too powerful compared to the PS2, wasn't it? So, it's about the company, not the games for you...

You DO have a point there. If the Ps3 is "stupidly more powerful" than Xbox 360, then wouldn't have Xbox been "stupidly more powerful" than Ps2? Of course, you can hardly consider these two to be on the same level. Xbox was released (someone correct me here) more than a year after Ps2, and thus its technology was far better at the time. Comparing them is like comparing the N64 to the sega 32-bit genesis. It doesn't hold up. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Bringer was right, nor am I saying you were wrong. I'm just tired of people comparing Xbox and Ps2.
However, Neiji, you should stop being so argumentative. "And I will assume that Xbox 360 will fall just at bad as you said..." You said that just because he/she said something negative about your favorite system. That's just immature. Unless, of course, you actually believe that the 360 will "fall horribly," in which case, it would certainly make your statement more convincing if you present some credible thoughts other than "Xbox sucks, Ps2 pwns, I like the games, Xbox only has Halo"

Power does matter though. You wouldnt play that 10 hour fun game if it was only 8 bit. No body hardly ever played Grand Theft Auto when it was Top Downa and 2d but then it becomes 3d and its the same game but just in 3d and evry1 loves it so yes Power does matter.

Right. the first two GTA's sucked. But not just because of the graphics...that was just a small bit of it. And noone would play a 10 hours game if it was 8-bit? Really? So explain to me the beginnings of the entire game industry? I'm not completely sure, but I don't believe everyone just instantly SPRANG into 32-bit color, high-res graphics? Or everyone just bought thier games, played them for ten minutes, and just threw them away?
Dude...misinformation=baaaad.
