any1 want a drone without a shadow? dont know why but here you go:
I was experimenting with soemthing that has to do with P161... anyways i tried to get a zerg building cloaked, which happend to not work with the arbitar thinny. so i canceled the next building and the drone became unloaked but it had no shadow, i thoguht it was weird so i wanted to share with you.
1. get an Arbiter and a drone
2. cloak the drone so it is always cloaked without the Arbiter
3. start to build any building
4. cancel at any time untill you get the drone back
5. the drone will uncloak but not get his shadow back
[atleast this worked for me]

i enperimented more with hydralisks and lurkers [broodwar] and found out that you can get a hydralisk without a shadow also!
only diffrencew is instead of building and canceling, you morph into a lurker and cancel!
thx for feed back so fast.. i found another way to get a shadowless hydralisk
get arbitar over hydra, morph into a lurker, cancel right when arbictar leavs, and waalaa, a non cloaked hydralisk.. same with drone!
mutalisk w/out shaddow: morph egg, cancel right when arbitar leavs... cant pern. cloak muta though

Ther are other ways of doing it, I am pretty sure. I've done it before and I did not use an arbitor. I did it on a melee game. Anyways nice finding your way of doing it.

hmm... thats cool! iv permanatly cloaked a ling, hydra, and a ultra but i didnt know u could take shadows away. COOL!

the weirdest thing i ever got with a drone was in a team melee game. THis was last patch before they fixed some of the problems. I somehow got it so that there was no drone sprite but their still was a shadow. it was just wandering around aimlessly, i wish i couold recreate but i have no idea how it happend.

wow lol that is awsome Rhiom! 
a shadow without a drone. man, that would be so awsome if you remembered how you did that. it would be perfect to spy on the other team with.

Can you even cloak a ultralisk? I thought you could only cloak zerg units that can burrow.

Of course you can cloak an ultralisk. I think you are talking about permanently cloaking.

Tell a drone to build an extractor, when it gets on the geyser, start telling it to get off or do something else. When it comes off, it won't have a shadow. Can be done in melee and anything else. Clokr_'s discovery when 1.11 came out.

It would still show up on the minimap and be auto-attacked. Cloaked units like obsvs would be better.
And this isn't the forum for soliciting help. It is for ASKING for it.
