I haven't got to play this game too too much but what I did get to play i big time enjoyed. The controls are a bit shakey feeling and they take a little to get used to but they aren't totally useless. The graphics aren't incredibly awesome but they still look pretty good. The gameplay is pretty damn fun. theres elements of numerous games in it. You can dive shoot like in Max Payn, but there is no bullet time. You can duel wield with several different weapons. And you can grapple an enemy to gain several options. You can use them as a human shield, interrogate them with 4 regular methods (Choking, Gun Holdup, Punching, Face Bash) and numerous special methods that you find throughout the game (Throwing them off cliffs, throwing them in woodchipers, putting them in shark tanks, curb kicking them, ec) or you can do a quick kill. The quick kill is a random effect that one hit kills your enemy. There are so many quick kills. Some are weapon specific, some are for every weapon, and some are special envirmonet quick kils. Some examples are stabbing them in the top of the head with a knife, slitting theit throats, tapping them on the shoulder and putting a bullet between their eyes, baseball batting them to the face with the butt of a shotgun, holding them by the throat and shooting them in the gut, shoving a knife under their bottom jaw, knocking them to the ground and pumping them full of bullets, etc. There is also this mode you go into where you go crazy. You can throw knives while in this mode. One knife stuns, two knives kill. You can throw two knives at once for a cool kill. There is also quick kill in this mode and these quick kills are espically gruesome. You can stab two knives into the enemies temples, put the knives into their hands then push their hands into their chest, uppercut their head with a knife mutalating it, slitting their throats, etc. Now I only beat about three of the levels and there was this much violence. There can only be more to come and it is definatly a fun game to play. Check it out.
accually i though the controls were shaky also, it had a weird story plot, but over all i give the punisher a... hmmmmmm i..... let see 6/10 it was ok, wasen't good yet it wasen't bad
