I wanted to try an ammo system like from the SWAT map on one of my own. I saw one in the tutorial section, but I dont think that will stop you from shooting, and I also dont want players allied with the enemy... Is there a way to actually stop a playerfrom shooting? Someone help with this trigger please.
The only way to make a player stop shooting another is constantly ordering his units to move or attack a location or making him constantly allied with the one you don't want him to attack.
Why don't you like using alliance?
If it's a hyper trigger alliance, it won't matter.

One other option for making them stop shooting is replacing the unit. or instance if u want a marine to run out of ammo once their don you culd replace em with a civilian. or you could replace em with a unit that only does like 1 damage, so the shooting effect doesnt work too well. this method would only work if you had only 1 unit that is firing though...

Ok, thanks. What I think I want to do is when the person shoots, I'll have obs or something be progressively exploding, is there a way to do that without having to kill a unit? I dont want a unit to have to die in 1 hit... :/
I don't quite understand. Do you want an observer to explode every time a unit fires? (not possible) Or do you want an observer exploding everytime a player uses 1 ammo? (just do it when you decrease his ammo amount)
i tink he wants to make the enmies hp go lower?
why woudl u ened observers? you cant see em and the only perpuse of them is to explode

i see what he means, u know the dodgeball games? thats what he wants but he doesnt want it to kill with one hit

oh and to answer your question, no you cant make it subtract health,

you can only make it modify their health.
