Remove a doodad or sprite from the map???
I know you can rid of unit sprites but i mean like, true sprites?

Just want to know, it's something I need help in finding out. Ive tried a few things w/SF but to no avail as of yet.

EDIT: I know its a short question, and it may have been answered before, but seeing as how ive been away from SEN for too long, i gotta create some new ties to the recent discoveries.

Also, ive been hearing about some special Player # that can do some weird things to units w/ triggers or something. So, if you could explain that or direct me to a forum that explains that, id be grateful.

P.S. DT, just please shut up unless your going to help me.... mad.gif

Yea I already asked that... Well I asked "move sprites".
From what I learned, I believe sprites can not be altered in any way. No trigger will affect spries either.
Best bet is to use unit sprites... TRY to make 'em look like something.

There are a handful of players that can do some "wierd things". If you look in the turtorials database you'll see a list of discovered players. Though not all have been discovered, I'm sure.

I don't think so. I tried to remove a door and I didn't can.

When i was messing around with extended units/players i made some unit that looked like a rock sprite. After a few second it would crash the game, but theres probably some unit that looks like a sprite that won't crash. I think there was one that was like a tree too, but i dont really remember the details.

Dabbu could create sprites in-game but it's risky and hard to do. I think there's a Tutorial on how to do it.

BTW: What happened to Dabbu?

He died. Actually, no idea. I imagine he went on to "better things". He sort of evaporated from SEN. sad.gif

Kenoli, the rock sprite is always created when Starcraft can't find a sprite to display. Your "extended unit" was nothing.

Sprites cannot be affected by triggers, but you can create sprite 0 with a trigger... 'Nuff said.

Ya... I think I know what you are talking about. I placed a unit-sprite of duke in siege mode, and then I edited it's properties so it would provide cover. After that it looked like a tree and provided the cover, but it also attacked things too. But then, I couldn't duplicate the same effect.

I know you can cloak sprites, that sorta looks like they were deleted.
