I need your help helpsmilie.gif

I need a sistem that when YOU WANT, you will put eggs by alien Queen.

This isn't the problem. The problem come when the alien have to born.

More interesting: 4 kinds of aliens:

-Zangano alien
-Alien (normal)
-Alien pretoriano
-Predalien

With StarForge, I can put eggs in the map, but it crash when I try to put zerg egg with a trigger.

I can to do the trigger and load with StarEdit, but at the game, they not appear.
If I put the eggs in the map, They aren't any alien in biggrin.gif

Any idea?

Well, since Blizzard never meant you to put the extra units on your map and created them only to appear in briefings, they never added all of the scripts to them with triggers, that's why you can't place them, can't detect them, etc.
So no matter how much you try, without a mod that gives them those scripts you won't be able to create extra units (like eggs) with triggers, sorry.

It crashed when you made it with triggers? I made a bound once and the eggs just did not appear. Nothing happened. What kind of egg did you use?

ADDITION:
I think what you can do is have some preplaced eggs somewhere on the map and just move the eggs to a certain location...

Isn't just crash. They only no appear, no messages of unit out of range or other.

I have thinked preplaced idea, but the problem really is "insert live" in the egg. xD
What I can do? I want an alien born!! xD

That's not even crash, crash is when screen goes puff and you exit starcraft.
And I already told you, you can't create eggs with triggers, it'd do nothing since there's no script for it to do anything.

Ok, but I have 1 thing to say:

I taked StarForge. I created a Trigger that made a Zerg egg in "location". Save map

I taked StarEdit. I look the triggers and They are:


Trigger
Description:
Egg
Conditions:
¤ Always
Actions:
¤ Create "Zerg Egg" at "Location"


StarEdit CAN read this trigger and it CAN read this unit (Zerg Egg), but ingame they dont make the unit.
I believe in AqoTrooper and in Starcraft we can't create a Zerg Egg with a trigger.

But if you're not, I apologize; people who rip me off make me so angry.

In my map I have it so the Queen can only lay 12 eggs or so. These eggs are pre-placed in an unused area so when you trigger the Queen to lay an egg you just move the preplaced egg under the Queen.

you could use an AI script to force the AI to build units using larva. then if you replace the built unit with the unit you want it should work. And if you can move larva...

The problem would be finding an AI script that just makes the same kind of unit over and over. would 'area town' work?

It's good idea, but The terrain is "Instalation" so I haven't area town. In addition, many of the aliens units are Heros, and I don't know to "build Heros"

I would be honored if someone actually took the time to unprotect my maps to look at how I did something. It shows that people can tell that you did it well.

And to have it hatch, then just center a locatino around the egg, remove the egg, make a unit with a good death animation at that location, kill that unit, play a sound if you want to (you can do the egg one from the MPQ wav table), and then make the unit that you want to have hatched out of the egg. The egg is gone, there is blood, a death sound played, and you have your unit.
Also keep in mind that the lurker egg is selectable with a box, but if you drag a box over a normal egg and another unit only the other unit will be selected.

You can just put an egg on starcraft xtra editor v 2.6 then use a trigger like
when a specific egg is killed or by a kill trigger, a specific unti will be created on the place of the egg.

cant build heros?
that can be fixed. just have a trigger that automatically removes the regular unit and create a hero unit.
if u really want alien sounds just pm xeno, im sure he might want to help you.

OT: what system are you talking about Xeno?
