including the Computer, allowing you to check what they can and cannot see
Computers have complete vision of the entire map, as if they own a map hack of some sort. If you blind a computer unit, it will act as if it wasn't blinded and can still attack from long distances even though you don't attack it.
I don't particularly care about regular doodads, zooming, or sight range. But what about
custom doodads, that can store sprites with it?
Anyway if you're open for suggestions...
Make that incredibly annoying terrin box dockable, or allow users to permanently get rid of it. Every time I close it, it will come back up after doing some action.
Those dropdown boxes that have numbers in them(Brush size, players, owners, colours, etc.), make it so users can put their own number in it, instead of being restricted to the ones in the dropdown.
Add a unit ID box and that 4 byte "unknown" thing. As well as two boxes for changing the X and Y position of the unit.
The sprite properties are a mess. All you need for them are the owner, X position, Y position, sprite ID, Disabled checkbox, and Draw as sprite checkbox.
Have hotkeys so when you press a number it changes to that player, just like it does in normal Staredit.
I've been using version Beta 0.4.5 so these suggestions are based on that.
