Wow you're really getting into this...
I was just throwing that possibility out in the open just in case we ever run out of work
.
I don't see how we can make different worlds and such. I was thinking if I could actually make a world but I don't see how that's possible until I learn more javascript or something. It's was mostly going to be a super advanced zerg pets thing. One player per account (yourself).
Edit ~ More over, if we actually did the image thing (and you made the images
), multiple races = a
load more images. Right now, for a profile / in battle look, a character would be poised in a certain fashion. After that, you can take that character and use him as a background layer and draw whatever on him. After you finish making, let's say armor, look good, the background layer could be hidden and then save the image and you have an armor render. The script would take whatever armor/weapons/ etc the person is currently wearing and overlay them all with z-index css, much like the menu script is done. "Forums \/" has a z-index of 25... the background of the menu has a z-index of 50, and the actual links have a z-index of 100.
However... knowing a player's armor and stuff could allow you to change your characters armor and such pre-battle. Perhaps you will have the ability to change it mid battle anyways. I don't know.

Independant attack cycles
Do you mean like attack cool downs?
I was thinking of doing it like Diablo 2 style where weapon's can be imbued with attributes like elemental (fire, ice, lightning, posion). Perhaps though, we could do starcraft-ish?
Melee: Various toss swords.
Range: Terran guns.
Spells: Things that are already in the game. Heal, dark cloud, blind (lowers accuracy), etc... but that would take away some extra things like armor having elemental resistances. Maybe it can be a merge of two worlds.
Before I would even consider this, I have another secret game in the back of my head I want to do for sen
