Staredit Network -> Ideas -> heres some ideas for maps

would like to see some of my idea's in map making:

1. make a rain bound with sprites impossable or not!!
2. have an air foce take off with dragoons make them into scouts for an perl harbor strike
3. stacked becons for run way !!
4. traps -might be good in a rpg walk in tar get slowed down or stuck for a certain amount of time
5. traps switches- some one sacrifices their life to open a door make sure they can respawn or give them like 2 lives a peice so game won't be based on 1 person dead.
6. a train made of carrier things lol forgot what they were called.
7. terrain- walk in a cave to make cave like textures would be kool in a rpg map.
8. hurcain blows terrain away like tress and buildings
9. walk on water (yeah i bet you already thought of this one)
10. super fast tempest make x amount of trails be hind him
11. sand storm with darkswarm neat huh
ok thats all my ideas for today. try it. oh if u do decide to use some of my ideas can u give me some credit thanks bye

why did you post this?? lol there are some good ideas for maps but some are stupid good thinking i think il use one.

ADDITION:
I got a good idea for a map.. DARTS, that would be awsome... really hard to do though. XD

Wow...You have alot of idea's...And kenoli already thought of the "Walk on water" trick...Kenoli made i on the ice fishing map...You can fin it in the dldb...

1. Impossible or not? If its impossible then it can't be made. Simple.
2. Anti-American sentiment I take it?
3. What? Run away?
4. How would you go about making players walk in tar?
5. Why would you die when opening a door?
6. Interceptors. What good would that be? Also you can't make and control those individually using triggers.
7. Its been done. DK has a few screenshots of an "underwater cave" with the cave-like textures you speak of. But then again, how does regular high terrain not work for you?
8. Can't move the trees, and buildings would take a bunch of locations.

10. Tempest? Or Templars? x# speed is overused and crashes Macs and some PCs. So what would be the point?
11. Dark swarm would make an ineffective sandstorm and it wouldn't look very nice in the game.

1. It might be impossible. It was thought 3 years ago it was impossible to do what we are doing with maps these days.

11. Actually, I disagree. Sure, it will make it pretty hard to move around and play, but the effect could be really nice. For that matter, a disruption web could be considered a "cloud".

darts...you can use my sloping system biggrin.gif

darts dotn seem that hard...liek basketball with a twist blink.gif

observer up and down..plus sloping, plus target move..i dunno...
