Well, i my self am a huge d2 fan, and play the game quite frequently... so over the years of course i have come across several weird bugs. the first is that it shows the charcters from a channel when you are not in the channel. looks like this

this is one glitch. another that i ahve found is somehting i have dubbed my "big foot". Ive seen it a couple of times before but it would always disappear before i got a screen shot of it. This weird floating ball is what i am assuming blizzard used as a spawn point for enemis. i finally did get a screen shot with it. anyone have any idea of what it is?

well w/e, also there is the glitch that u can tele outside the walls of areas like the maggot lair, but i'm sure most of you know about that. if you want to know more i'll post pics of that too

Heh... The upper one look really weird. Never seen something like that. The pic below... WTF IS THAT THING? ? ? Sorry cant help you, but it all look damned weird... None of the things have ever happened me.

ya, the top one has only happend to me twice. the bottum one has happend a couple of times. but it has to be really really laggy. and ive only seen it in the trhone room and in the worldstone chamber. once i saw three of em all at once.

The first One I've seen several times.
It usually happens when it's very laggy and you drop out of a game and then rejoin battle.net

The bottom one also happens when it's laggy. As you know the Throne Room is the laggiest area of the game. Thats usually part of an animation that got stuck.

Yeah I've seen those too man Once I went off the level and I made a TP for my friend and he went through with me so we were both chillin', off level Here's some screenies.

so are they the spawn points like i suspected? you seem to know the most about both of em

I don't believe it's a spawn point since I see no unit that is spawning another. The only logical explanation is that there was intense lag, as you can see by the player in the top doing nothing and that usually happens when it's laggy; players take a setp away.

As you can see the 2 Unravelers next to the one with the blue circle have animations ont hem signifying that they have been hit. The same thing is happening with the one with the blue circle, but the animation never finished because of the lag.

theres also one in the blackmarsh dark tower or what ever, 4th lvl or 3rd i think

the most commen glitch i see is when i'm usin my paladin (with the spell charge) and it freezes my guy so i'm stuck in some random position while i cant do anything and i'm gettin smashed btw the blue ball in baals room, is the ball baal uses to summon his buddys the blue color your normaly only see for a matetr of seconds then the guys spawn, for those of you who havent played d1 the blue ball is just a smaller d1 town portal, meening all those monsters are being teleported in from somewhere

oh cool, so it's basicly the summoning effect but it usually happens to fast to see? speaken of glitchs ahve you seen the flame bellow glitch which makes you invincible? then again you also cant attack, plus you can run through walls, but everyone else only sees you staying in one spot.

First one happens all the time. TPing off-level is nothing close to something new.

For the second screenshot, I place my bet on a laggy Oak Sage (or w/e 2 others).

hadnt thought of that, there was a druid in the game as you can see by the screen shot, he might have had the oak sage summoned. it is possible that when you lag too much it gets all blue like that. thx for the input.

Actually that's an explosion animation that blizzard has in there. It's just not showing the animation complete and it shows the ball. If you notice when monsters spawn it makes that explosion but what you're seeing is that thing.

Everyone's killing pretty fast, then -.-. All spawning ennemies are already dead, and the animation only takes one tenth of a second. Even if it would be laggy, you'd have to be pretty freaking quick to SS this...

And I have never seen anything like it in any of my (+-) 500 Baal runs...

well, i didnt have to be that fast because the game was pretty laggy at the time. so I had a couple seconds to take the shot. in the past it had deisappeard pretty fast, i have a second screen shot of it but it is not as good. here is it.

i've seen both of thoses/i'm done both of thoses, the one weres theres so ground is when YOUR computer is lagging, and that blackball thing was allready explained UP there, it when it gets really laggy..i no longer have diablo 2 expansion but i will post some starcraft glitches, if i find some funny ones
