Yoshi didn't make a Video Tutorial for nothing, he made it to explain how to make the cool terrain effects that you see nowadays.
And for you Hardcore Yoshi_Da_Sniper fans out there... you get to hear his voice. I wonder if I have as many fans as Mike...

Dont diss the non-US peeps. That kind of stuff is overlooked when reading a foreign language. Like in my German class, when she says something I dont analyze it, I just get at the main meaning. Of course, I'm only in German 1.

Try out Yoshi's video tutorial.
Basically, blending terrain is a process of finding singular tiles in the pallette that match up nicely. The objective, of course, is to make some kind of good-looking structure out of terrain. Sometimes you use sprites, too, just to add effects.

well what type of terrain do you want to blend exactly. its just guess and checking your work and having a good creative eye.
