you open SF, than Scenario>players and choose the color for every player.

Notice that if you open that map later in Xtra the default colors will be back.

yea this is a simple thing to do, even for me, and really useful for many maps. plus i think it makes it look cooler. Oh yea this is also really good for games where you have to hide in a croud of people. and avoid getting caught

Just create a "give unit to player" action in the end of the briefing trigger that'll give each player his unit back (make them stand in different locations when the briefing starts so that in the end the giveback won't mix up).

If you've got another question, you'd be best served to start a new thread. More people will see it.

There are three ways to do what you want done.
1. the A[U]q[]oTrooper way (why do I keep thinking agrotrooper?)
2. Each player gets a predefined unit. (one player is raynor, one is duran, one tassadar, ect...)
3. Players pick units. Set a unit, or modify score/deaths for each player to set what unit type they have. After the briefing, give back units based on what the setting was.

The first way is a bit sloppy, the second does not give player controll, the third takes the longest to do. Your choice which one you use.

The third will not work if the player has died and respawned.

AqoTrooper's way is the best.

The best use for it is in defense games, I have two computers that do different things and I can distinguish between them with triggers but the players can't. happy.gif

He understands the GiveUnit();, it is the system of knowing which unit is whose that is hard.

i guess i should lower my rating lol but i haven't even opened starcraft in nearly a year so im getting back into it and the problem i faced with the units giving back was that before hand every picks there own unit by stepping on a becon and then get briefing
