Ive been working on this map for about 3 hours and I try to save and it says "cant open "map name" for writing. WTF BULLSH!T I NEED HELP HERE!

That would be because you either renamed the file or moved the file while you were working on it.

I get this problem all the time. It has nothing to do with movinf the file or deleting it. as i worked on a map for 1 hole day and night did not move. Delete a file while maming the map.

It was a new map, completely new, just that when you try and save it, it says those errors. I have tried it on regular star edit (its like WHOA, cuz its so different), and it works fine.

Thats why you gotta constantly save your map, and make an extra copy if it screws up. Thats what i do all day on my map.

I did have a problem at one time with saving maps as a .scx file when using scxe. I'm not sure what causes it or if its a bug.
