Gun Wars - Download

You will start of with the default unit, the 9mm. Unload the weapon from your Inventory (dropship) to change weapons. You will restock on ammo upon death. When you kill someone, you will have used 1 Round. When you die you will leave behind ammo for others to pick up. Picking up ammo gives you 1 Round. When you run out of Rounds in your Clip, you will automatically reload. If you are out of ammo, you will be switched to Unarmed immediatelly.

To simulate absolute realism this map has many unique features. Such as the walking effect. Everytime you walk you will hear yourself walking. If you stand still you will not hear anything. If you are near another player you will hear them walking. Also, as another feature you will not have vission of your allies. However, since you are equiped with a GPS system you will recieve a mini-map ping of to where they are.

Mission Obj.

Kill Your Enemy
Gas Is Your # Of Clips
Ore Is Your # Of Rounds

Special Units

SCV - Drop this unit to toggle the sound.
Medic - Drop this unit to display if the music is on or off.
Firebat - Drop this unit to place a Stationary Radar. You can place this on the map and it will serve as a radar. NOTE: You can only place this once! Also note that this cannot be placed near spawn locations!

this sounds really good but this should belong in maps in production. Good luck with this map.

Yay, it contains some advanced features and oter stuff that do look cool. The walking effect really make a cool map. Iused it a 2 or 3 of my maps and it makes a cool effect.

BTW: Yep, this belongs in maps in production, not completed maps.

Cool, I think if you add that, It will actually be better then playing for only 15 minutes happy.gif, And it may get popular on bnet.

I played it on Bnet and we had a strange bug. Player 5 was killed (or so he said) and was found "humping a tree". He was moving back and forth and couldnt move. We also could shoot him, but it did no damage. After about 5 mins, he suddenly was released and walked away. He was using the Zealot. It was bizzare indeed. Also, the game seemed a bit long and people left. Make an option at the beginning to make the score lower to win. This map reminds me of a glorified V-Tech paintball from back in the day. I also found that the clips of ammo never came into effect. I never ran out or needed more so maybe you can fix this. Have starting ammo be less, have other powerups randomly around the map (invincibility, enemy locator, etc) so that people dont just sit around and pick you off from a cliff top. Also, I did not understand what the radar did, but that could just be me being stupid and not paying attention. All in all, a well made map. Good job.
