I've been looking around in my neghiborhood on this site for a while now... and now you can too! Just go to http://terraserver.microsoft.com/address.aspx, put in your address, and you can see your house, or anything you want from space! It's pretty nifty...
Here's my house:

it wont zoom in on my house ITS EVIL lol
Well this is 6 years old, a lot has changed since then. The swimming pool (if you can make it out) is a lot larger. There is a 4 lane highway running vertically now, not the 2 lane one you see. The bottom right is now a construction site for a new neighboorhood. And the bottom right has lost a lot of plantlife, concrete expanded, and is now a small-time used auto retailer.
My house? Irrelevent. It is near the upper mid portion of that image, however.
Holy

this is cool.
My house is in red (I have uber backyard).
This pic has to be new because pool and trampoline (in yellow) are newish.
Amazingly there are no trucks on the street (someone is ALWAYS having work done).
why are some in color and some not? (the pictures)
ADDITION:
heres my school
Damn... they don't have pictures of Israel! Argh!
Pfft... Only USA. Screw them.
Color is "Urban Areas"
Wonder if you go "The White House", Washington D.C.
Or some top-secret place.
damn it cant find meh house
DAMN! I was sure they would have Area 51.

I saw that a few years ago. I think the pictures of my area are like 10 years old.

Well, that took about 20 minutes to find my house. This was taken back in 1998. Yes, I know there is A LOT of trees. And even the big dark areas are like 50 foot trees. How many of you can say that you have 50 foot trees in your yard?
wow. this doesn't scare any of you that they've got pictures of your house?
No.
But it should scare you people that I now have pictures of your houses. Muahhahahah! Now I can tell where you live from satellite view! Beware.
Why should you? What they goona do track you down and Kill you?
I doesnt matter Were people see your house like they no were it is.
YOur being over dramtic
my househeres my house. it was taken in 95' so it sucks for the zoom. bolt head has an uber yard.
Did you guys just type in your address and it worked?
They censor major military bases and even have an eighty mile square gap in aerial photos for the NORAD defense base in Cheyenne Mountain, CO.
It uses GPS to find your house, and it's off by about 250 feet, so you gotta scrool around before you find your house.
You can look at the FBI training center, maybe see some cool junk...
I have yet to see an actual person in one of these pictures...

Off by 250 feet? Mine was off by around... I didn't even have an exact area to look. I had to find my house, from THIS spot here.http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.asp...nge%7cWisconsin Clicking and looking for highway/roads, which sucked. Lucky people, probably have areas in cities listed on there. Not in the country though. Bleh, I suck.QUOTE(FireKame @ Feb 11 2005, 07:36 PM)
