Which in your opinoin is better? I like n64 Better because of 2 games Paper Mario & Yoshi Story always Liked getting the Black & white yoshis
I would say they are about equal. They both had some amazing games. Snes had Mortal Kombat, a ground breaking fighting game, and some of the best rpgs ever made, Secret of Mana, Sienken Densetsu 3, Legend of Zelda: A link to the past. The N64 had some great stuff too. Like the revolutionary Golden Eye. That was the best FPS game for a console and it was like the best mutliplayer game ever. The controls and graphics were awesome. Then there was the incredible Zelda 64: Ocarani of time. That game was so insane. People had never before seen such a beautiful 3d world. All in all I think I would put my vote to SNES mainly because to this day I still play some SNES games while my N64 roms are on some cdrom somewhere collecting dust.
I voted for n64 since i dont know who snes is :/
SNes... Any old-school gamers will back me on this one. Don't need to explain why.
im backing you up Chris/Shadow Paladin, 100%, Super Mario Bros. Super Mario World, it was teh crazy no challenge

Backup... This game is an army of backup all it's own, Chrono Trigger. And Mario...
But then again I loved Zelda! Those three are the ones that started it all..
Then again it's all from the same company, So let's all rejoice!

N64, just for those two zelda games, they are so amazing... however Super Mario World is pretty pro as well.
SNES.
Firstly, I simply
hate and [/i]despise[/i] the N64/GC controllers, while as the SNES one was decent.
Secondly, I don't feel like it's a waste of could-be-used power when I see a 2-d SNES game. It just seems wrong for something as powerful as the N64 not playing 3-d.
And I hate 3-d.
Also...
Super Metroid, Super Mario Bro's What'cha-ma-call-it thing(the one with Super Mario Bro's 1, 2, 3, Lost Levels, and 1 more I think). GOD I loved the 3rd one, I just got too lazy to beat the last area. 99 lives, 7 flying powerups, and a bunch of things like fireflowers just collecting dust. Also, the frog suit, hammer suit, racoon suits were awesome too.
Kirby Superstar
This has got to be one of my favorite side-scrollers of
all-time, and considering how rare it is for me to have a favorite anything, that's special.
It looked good enough, it had 3 mini-games(I liked the The Arena), 5 or 6 normal games, plenty of powers that, unlike in most other Kirby's, have several attacks(I especially liked Fighter and Bio-Spark

).
SNES hands down.
I loved Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, FFII and FFIII, Zelda: A Link to the Past, Kirby SuperStar, Super Metroid and more. I can't think of them all.
hmmm i like N64, for the classic Mario64 man was that game fun, when i was younger and that game first came out, i would sit in my rooms for days on in trying to beat it, blue the N64 had starfox64 which had really odd grafics but it was still ann ok game
N64 did have better graphics but if you compare the two consoles on when they were released, SNES would be better.
Nothing can beat classic Old-School games that were all based on fun.
There were many better SNES games than N64 games and N64's used to get broken quite fast while SNES lasted much longer.
Sony screwed it all. They had to buy that stupid Square licence and make dumber and dumber Final Fantasy games (for the PS1 at least, and except for FFVII, too).
Nintendo would have been much better with the Enix liscence.
yea chris, like final fantasy one and two, those were cool, but sony had disc's against cartrages, and discs could handle more things than cartradges or however you spell it
Heh, Ill say Snes is best in my point of view, I just like the old school games, For sega...Like the old sonic games.

R u kidding?!?! SNES Had way better graphics than N64! N64 had not been perfected in 3D, but SNES perfected 2D! By perfecting 3D, I want a game where if there is a ball, it should have NO points or flat sides. In Super smash brothers, the fists are supposed to be like spheres, but actually look like hectagons, while in the SNES, the character's hands actually look like hands...!
But You Guys Forget One thing! That N64 HADE YOSHI STORY THAT GAME SO OWNED. Like Kirby and crystal shards
I think the kirby game for N64, Was...Stupid...You suck it colored shards to get powers...And you suck in monsters..And you can spit them out...I beat the game in 2 hour's...Not fun for me

I found Kirby64 to be a good reminder of the SNES one (that owned, BTW). It was just... So freaking short. And easy. Which made the game sux at the end.
Agreed with Chris.
And anyway, Kirby Superstar was much better.
As I complained, in Kirby64, each ability only has 1 attack.
If you get sword, all you can do is swipe. Well, 2 abilities, but 'throw sword' doesn't count, and that was a special case.
The one and only reason that I picked the N64 is GoldenEye 007. It is the only game that I have spent almost as much time on as Starcraft. And N64 has Starcraft

(I still want to get it, too). Because the console Starcraft is much more practical in the single player sense. You had to find secret stuff in missions in order to use cheats or extra levels. AND IT HAD NON-INTERNET MULTIPLAYER! That just rules.
Other than those 2, I would have picked the SNES. it did have cleaner graphics, no jaggies, and tons of fun games. For some reason it had a lot of game collections, like Super Mario one (it was World or Stars or something...). I would rather play most SNES games than almost all new games. That was the good days...
I say N64 because up to 4 ppl can play those games.
But some SNES games are pretty good...

but SNES had Yoshi's Island 1+, theres more than 1 game owned!
I like N64 because of the concepts of the gaming system.

i like SNES cause it was better then N64.
The only game I liked for N64 was Perfect Dark, That's probally the only game I will ever play on N64.
