I've attatched the map. Ignore player 2, I was half way through making it but 5 minutes into making the map I gave up on it.
The idea is to issue orders instead of controlling units to fight. It's there to simulate realistic wars where commander command their troops to attack and retreat instead of microing them.
Try killing every unit of player 4! I can when I'm microing them, but not when I'm using this system.
Also there is a slight demonstration of my counter cycle of units. Swordsman>Archer>Mage. Swordsman and Archer can be any close/ranged unit. Not hard to find out how it works...
I've made more complicated systems. Why don't you try turning off vision for the player and an invincy unit like observer with a terran mine under it (that you have vision of) to control where they attack.

chuiu its still not that bad of idea what he had it doesnt matter if you had more complicated battle things.
Sounds similar (not the same) to the commanders map i made on a whim. Recall units that auto move to the end target. Didn't turn out too well though.
Yeh good idea, but you will have to "define" it alot as some commands could mean like 3 things..
