Ive always wondered, but been to lazy to find out, whenever s trigger is running, does it finish the trigger and then check actions? or does it check the condition and Then display the action. kinda like this:
players
Player1
conditions
bring 1 unit to location
actions:
wait for 5000 milliseconds
kill all unit for player1 at location
preserve trigger
...now, would that make the trigger check to see if the unit was still there after the 5000 milliseconds or would it just follow throught with the trigger?
If the condition has been met then the whole action process wil begin.
If it has preserve trigger and it fired once and the condition is no longer met because the trigger made it so the condition won't be met then the trigger won't fire again.
Allright, i understand starcaft a little better
ill leave this open for more discussion
Thanks for being too lazy to test that for yourself.
Laziness is the American dream.
Yeah think of all the great stuff we have because people are lasy.
Like . . . The Wheel.
You don't even know the circumstances behind the invention of the wheel. For all you know it could have been invented by a guy wanting to a faster easier way of delivering goods to his customers so that he could expand his business. I would hardly call that lazyness.
If your thinking of using that trigger for a defense map(trig used to buy heros), don't they put the civ on the beacon then run away, resulting in giving them a free hero.
