I was playing the campaign, And noticed on the level where you got to destroy the infested comand center, On the terran campaign, That when you go up to the bunker it realeases the marines/firebats as a computer color, Not my color (red), They came out as purple, And I could build purple building's instead of red.

I had an idea i can use that for...With the map i'am making.

Where is the question?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Puni(F) on 2005-02-12 at 15:41:35
The question is, How to make the unit's color the same color as a computer, But I can still control the unit.

All units will always keep their original color, even if you change their ownership to a different player they keep that color.

Basicly just give the computer unit tot he player and it will keep the same color.

Make the comp rescuable.

EDIT: What are you talking about? Units only stay the same color if you give them to players 9-12.

BeeR had too much beer. That isn't true.

Yeah, rescuable comps don't change colors when rescued.

Beer your proboly thinking of P9+ units.

Think about it, if you give a unit from player 1 to player 2 does it become blue? Of course it does.

If the unit is Rescued on the other hand it won't change colors.

Only the rescuable units stay that color, any unit you build with, even if it is lets say purple, and your red, will be red. Because they are now yours. But they just don't convert to your color.

Beer, IF YOU SIMPLY USE THE "GIVE UNITS TO PLAYER" TRIGGER, THE COLOR "WILL" CHANGE... disgust.gif

ADDITION:
Eh, but rescued units stay the same color smile.gif
