Making units walk on water or space is possible. All you need is sprites and make sure they are player 255's sprites. I am still working on how to make it but if you got any idea's on helping me out please tell me.

There is a glitch that can make units walk on water and on space. That is an ingame one. They are not sprites.

Ask Mr.Glitchmaster to show you.

Why exactly do they have to be P255 sprites? (And does this still work with 1.12?)

You can also make units walk on water if you just use space units and add triggers so they can't get on land, this gives the same effect as ships cool1.gif

You can also do this by making a zerg start location on null terrain, so that it creates the zerg terain, then destroy the building and the terrain dissappears slowly. The units are then left on space, you can move them on any unwalkable terrain then. A long time ago me and a friend made an rpg based off this. It wasnt very good, because it had no story. But you had to run off into space and defend the expanding zerg base that was being built.

Wow that interesting rantent, ill have to try that sometime, but seriously using it to walk on water would be a good idea for like pirates or something.. you could make like a ship in the middle of no where (water/space) and move it around and if it hits land it dies.. pretty good idea for a party based rpg game..

whadu think?

If you have terrain of tile #1-13 with buildigns with creep around them (creep colonies work well), you can kill them and the creep will stay on the 1-13 tiles. have it like that on two ends of the map or whereever you want them tog o to. tell them to patrol to the other side, you can have water or w/e inbetween the 1-13 tile sections. You can also have a building there and set a rally point to the other section of 1013 terrain; and they will go there. If you stop them though, or something; they will go berserks. Seeing Reavers trying to attack is funny, the Scarabs are messed up.
