Staredit Network -> Games -> Calling upon Metroid fans

Just wanted to make a topic about Metroid.

Discuss here, ask questions, etc...

Personally, my favorite title of all time will always be Super Metroid, on SNES. It was very well balanced, via action/exploration and it was actually the only one which created the others. Basicly, Metroid Fusion and Prime were kind-off remakes of the SM, but with added things and different storylines.

The plot is also extremly well made, I especially would like to know where Samus comes from (Chozo, etc...) and how it's gonna end, etc... You know, things that get you addicted to it wink.gif

I'm currently playing Prime, mostly. I finished the game with 96% on my first attempt, with +- 20 hours of playing. I'm trying to finish the logs right now, and finish hard mode as well.

gogogo METROID PRIME

Good graphics, etc. I think the record for 100% was like 2-3 hours of gameplay? Lowest percent is 22%(as of now)
I usually visit samus.co.uk or metroid2002(link from other site) for speed runs, tricks, tips, glitches, etc.

SNES, without a doubt, had the best Metriod game thus far.

I also voted for Super Metroid. It is an awsome game, but I have sold all my awsome snes game so I only have censored.gif ty mario kart as my best game.
PS Chu, I just played Outpost war, its an awsome game, but sometimes my specials stop working for certain units. The tanks instakill never stopped working or the High Templay could still transform, but they were the only of all of them to keep working.

I've got to say Super Metroid. Although, I've only played:
A slight bit of Metroid Prime(what I did play, I didn't care for).
And a slight bit of Metroid Fusion(what I did play, I didn't care for).
Too bad I don't have my trusty Super Famicom anymore...
Super Famicom is the Japanese Super Nintendo, for anyone who doesn't know. It has a different shape and different cartridges, other than that it's no different. Plus it's smaller(less of that god damn air inside).

I know Andy, and I know how to fix it now. I may release a newer version later on some time.
