We get more trafic every day and more members are active every day but the 133 members at one time from October still stands.
Not members online. Users. Including guests. We haven't picked up too much traffic since our glory days. We are at about same right now.
'Glory days'? What's that?
About Aug. 10 to when Yoshi left.
No! It's when I "left" too! Bleh.
No one cares about me
And it was the same over SSC...
The glory days was when Shadow Paladin aka Chris left us.
Oct 21 ~ I believe that's when I finally got staredit back up.
It was when I left

Maybe the whole thing is because summer just ended :\

OHHHHH That explains it.
Mainly because we posted on every site it was back up, not like we had anything new.

SSC is different. Miker doesn't update, theres no dynamic content, so theres no reason for anyone to come back. Besides, I don't think SSC ever got this big... I may be wrong though. I think the forums made it to about a few thousand posts, before they merged with Blizzforums. It has even less activity then before, strangely. One would expect that fourms in the biggest SC community would get posters from it as well.
And our glory days are still here believe it or not... look at the forum stats. There was a little downward spike from when I left, but the posts/regstrations/topics have returned.
Once SMT starts pumping out maps(Should be soon, our first map is just about to go Beta) the hits for this site will start climbing up.
They're climbing anyway. The only reason we had a max of 133 users online, was when there was a major event at that time. Proedit maybe or something.
Or maybe because people were anxious to see who the new SEN admin was?

How do you "pump out maps" when you have eight or so people squabbling over the same map?

We are currently making about 5 maps at the same time.
We have the team "divided" up into groups so that not everyone works on the same map, most people are on several projects and anyone is free to help on any map but the priority is that map which you are officially making.
Isn't it possible though that a lot of those guests were google spiders? I see them a lot on other forums. if you go the forums from StarCraft Index, the most was 389, but they were almost all google spiders.
Spiders are not included in those calculations.
Except most of the SMT is lazy but it seems like production is going up again

Finally some brains applied to SMT.
I'd have joined but I much prefer to work at my own pace and do what my heart desires
