Just a little question, I'am making a map, But evrey time I go into the game, It sais Unable to create unit, But I dont have any "Create Unit" trigger's, I think it's just because there's to many unit's in the game, So my question is How do I put an extra ammount of unit's in the map without it say that, I know there's a tutorial on it some where, But I can't find it, If you can post the tutorial here, That will be good.

The maximum number of units in a map is 1650, I think. But you get that message at the beginning of the game if you've placed a unit on terrain it can't walk on. StarEdit won't let you place too many units in the first place, so your hypothesis is probably incorrect.

Then how do certain map's keep creating unit's for ever until the other team comes and kill them, They just keep on spawning and spawning.

Some building's give +30 unit supply, But the building are only for a certain player and I dont know what player, Or building's.

they cant keep spawning unless the spawn area is the whole map
when they reach the size limit of the location, they stop spawning, but u can make it so that the "cannot create unit" error message comes out by using either bring at least or bring at most....

Thats compleatly false, the location size doesn't effect the spawn area in the slightest.

Puni are you getting an error message with coordinates? If so write those numbers down, then devide them both by 32 and go to that place on map and delete/move those units.

Nozomu, the max units in the game is 1700 the max in the editor is 1650.

It could be units placed on a cliff, like a siege tank on unwalkable terrain.

We wish to teach you how to help yourself, we don't want to just give you the answers.

Starcraft Mapmaking is like math. When you learn math, you want to learn why the answer is correct, not just the answer.

Good answer, LegacyW. happy.gif

Also if I were you Puni, I'd check upon the mapping tools ('round the dl area), such as alternate map editors. I use SCXE, but many mappers use others such as SF or even SCMDraft 2. All the ones mentioned are the more common among the SC mapping community. wink.gif

Puni, how about just making each unit worth more. That way you need less units on the map. :/
