I got bored today and as i flipped through one of my many spindels of cd-rs i fumbled across a mod i played a LONG time ago called Gundam Century. It turns all units for Terran and Protoss into units from the Mobile Suit Gundam Series. The terran become the Federation and Protoss become Zeon. It is some really awesome stuff. I never knew if many people played it but now that i'm part of this awesome starcraft forum site, I can spread it =D. Enjoy!
http://dlx.gamespot.com/pc/starcraft/moreinfo_6085432.htmlIs there a website that has this for free without signing up? I don't want to sign up for something I'm not going to use.
Probably if you searched. The guy who made it used to have a site about it with screenshots, a faq, and all the stuff you need to install it (patches and whatnot). But that was a long time ago. I talked to him a bit on email back then and he said he was making it to put in his portfolio for when he tried to get a job. Maybe hes gotten that job and doesn't have the site anymore, I don't know.
How do u install a mod anyways? do u just extract it into the folder or do u have to make a new folder?
You gota like patch sc to the patch the mod was made on or whatever (I think this one requires 1.7). And then its like an exe or something.
How can you patch it...If evrey time you sign on bnet, Its just gonna make you keep downloading the newer one.
Can't get on bnet with this mod. I think he was going to do an internet thing for it but i'm not sure if he did or not.
Basically, it is possible to play on Battle.net with a friend using a mod. It' s just that the people you play with NEED to have that exact same mod running as you are. To run a mod, I think you just double-click it and run it. If you can't do that, you would have to use a program to run the mod. (forgot program name)
