No, It wouldent die without halo, Xbox has other great game's to play, Not just halo, If halo kept it alive, They would make a halo consol.

It wouldnt die out, but it would slow ENORMOUSLY. That why I put it would. It kidna how the Dreamcast did. It was a cool thing for about 4 days, thjen PS2 came out and wiped it off the map. *Sigh* Such is the vicious game of commercial gain.

God people, Don't any of you play any "OTHER" game's then halo, Like tony hawk 2,NBA STREET V3,The Punisher™,MechAssault® 2: Lone Wolf,Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath™,Mercenaries™,NFL Street 2....I can go on and on in the list of my xbox games.

Of course not. I didnt buy my Xbox because of Halo. I bought my Xbox because its the most powerful console available and it has some awesome games. Sure Halo PWNS EVERYTING but thats not the only reason why the Xbox shines. There are many good Xbox-only games.

yes, because ps2 has so many games that xbox also has, plus that super-small ps2 looks so sexy

I think it might. Not totaly sure about that maybe 60%. Halo does get broring after a while with no x-box live

It definitely wouldnt be what it is now, but knowing x box if they didnt have halo they most likely would get some other great game just as collosul to be there front man, plus halo isnt the only good game for x box, there are many other great game for x box, such as morrowind.
