As you read! yep

Mine is very simple... i just readed the nick on a magazine... it was a virus maker...

Yours?
8th grade history teacher called me Chewymunga and Chewbacca a lot. It caught on like wildfire through the school. Before that I was known as Chilly because I enjoyed Chili (I spelled it Chilly because it looked better to me at the time).
After years of spelling it chewy, and people thinking I got it from starwars, I changed it to Chuiu (no, not Chewy-u). And at SEN it was shortened to Chu.
I've had the nickname for about 5 or 6 years now.
Btw, I am now Chuiu_os on bnet. OS is not a clan I am in, it is a description of my gaming style (offensive strike).
Hmm... I suppose you are referring to our SEN names. In that case...:
I wanted a new B.Net account 'cause my f list was fing full, and this was the first thing I thought of, that kinda reminded me of the fact that I was planning on changing description on the name. So I decided to use it as my regular online name.
Yoshi da Sniper
"Yoshi" orginates from my childhood obsession with everyones favorite dinosaur. I still do like it, but not in great as I did before.
"Sniper" orginates from my favorite type of rifle in CS

Orginally, I was going to be "Yoshi the Sniper" but then when I registered it for battle.net, it could only be 15 characters. Rather than make myself "Yoshi Sniper" (makes it sound like I snipe yoshies

) I made "the" into "da". Thus came, "Yoshi da Sniper".
My name came from what my friends use to call me, when we played Halo Lan xbox's.
I use to help my team out by being a "DECOY" and just driving the warthog through the level dodging sniper bullets while my team comes in from behind. Even though the other team caught on after a few times.
After we won a few games like that, my friends said I should use the name "DECOY" as my Halo tag.
Then it just lead onto the forums.
Hmmm, it goes more like this for me:
- I like sci-fi ish stuff, and therefore the "Space" part
- I'm young, so the "Boy" part
- Most of the time, the name is taken, so i started adding "2000" to the end of it. It's now more like tradition.
That is all.
Ok, Zippit originated from austin powers - the spy who shagged me (Tazzy would know, its a sex related jamesbondy comedy) in which Dr. Evil (bad guy) said Zip-It to people whom didnt shutup. I watched this movie like 3times over three days so the word stuck in my head. I hadnt been on Bnet in a while and my account had expired. You can figure out the rest, lol.
Aster...is from some campaign on sclegacy.com. He's a Ghost. Full name is Trent "Trench" Aster. 23 is just my fave number
I'll leave you in the dark as to where mine came from... :UBEREVIL:
i got ent from lotr but i got it long before the movies and all. first time i was going to register something i just froze and got no imagination so i tought of my favorite books and there we go.
when playing counter-strike im called action. that comes from when i was playing with some people i started playing with desert eagle and changed me anme to deagle boy # 1 and then some friends named themself #2 and #3 so when i wanted another weapon i changed to action boy # 1 (thats were my msn comes from hehe) and when i joined a clan i shortened into action.
Well my names kindof unoriginal, It's just my favorite unit in SC. I've been wanting to change my name for a while, but I've had it for like 2 years, and it would be sad to see it go.

hehe kinda the same here ive been wanting to change my counter-strike nick but ive used it for so long i cant..
Shadow Paladin
Shadow -- Refers to darkness, loneliness. Direct relation to my extremly shy nature (out of internet, that is). Also relies to my depressive nature.
Paladin --
-----1st --Swords and shields. I found ways of deffending myself and attacking others when threatened [god knows how this word is spelled...]. Internet is also a kind of shield which protects me against the... Humiliating experience I didn't want to life again in here...
-----2nd-- Paladin, which in knight. I love the medieval theme, knights, and dragons and most of the weapons used, back then.
Shadow Paladin came since "Darkness Knight" sounded too much used, thus, I coped with another name. It stayed since then. Never had any ideas to change it, nor I doupt I will ever do. The name represents me in so many ways already...
</boring part>
back in.... umm... wait, I don't remember... maybe when I was like 9? I used 'Overlord' on bnet, I thought it was cool so I used it, joined a clan, w/e. Then the clan died and I had to change my name and thought 'Overlord' was a gay name so I was stuck with Deathknight ever since.

Mine is actually kinda like Yoshi's. the 'da' at the start is an article, like 'the.' A 'shrike' is a kind of bird like a kingfisher. It dives underwater and spears fish w/ its beak. Its very small and fast.
And its unique. Nobody else that I've ever heard of uses that sn...
Lol, I have always pronouned your name "Das-Rike" like two different words. And I never expected it to be a bird.

Winter, I thought you were grounded?
Ditto; maybe he is snicking in posts!!!!
My nickname... - Coko???
Play a battle; see the name and realise its acutally my name

I was.......................... it wasnt true................................ knew it yesterday...................
My name is Andrew, which is shortened to Andy. My bnet name, top1 comes from the game Perfect Dark where I attained the top rank in multiplayer. I yelled at my friends "Im the top one" and changed my PD name to top1 to rub it in, and it followed me to SC.
I used to love perfect dark... Own my friends with the RCP-120...
Then they started looking at my screen to see where I was (I was cloaked). During 1v1 tournies we put a huge piece of cardboard in the center of the screen to prevent cheating. *Sigh* the good 'ld days...

Most people do. I've gotten used to being referred to as "dash" a lot. Its not really a big deal.
Like we said, its the
origin of the nicks, not necessarily the reason we keep 'em.

JMY goes waaaay back to the early days of '98 or '99, on the good old MSN Gaming Zone. After trying about 20 different nicks, I finally settled on "JediMastahYoda". That name has followed me through many sites, transforming to "JediMastaYoda" in the process. JediMastaYoda is my name on pretty much every forum and site I'm a member of. So if you see me on any other site, there's a high probability it's me
