Mega Man X. Original, that is. Not the crap that Capcom has been pushing on us recently.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the original Castlevania games.

Halo 2 gets my vote

I would have to say halo 2 owns them all, It is practically the best game for x-box, To bad they don't make it for Gamecube or something else, I think it would get more poplular that way.

Megaman is nice but too many versions.
Castlevania is a game too much zombies.
Halo and Halo 2 are the closest, but i like halo 2

Pshaw! The reason there are so many of the damned Mega Man games is because the series has been so popular for so long! 14 years of continuous great quality got to their heads at Capcom, so they kept churning out the things, when the storylines should surely have been ended long ago!

And the Battle Network series, in my opinion, is very much a company milking its faithful customers for dollars. They should end ALL the series they're currently plodding along with, and make something new about the Blue Bomber. Maybe a game that connects all the series together or something.

End rant.

Megaman has been out since I was a little kid, I remember all the N64 games they made for megaman, The game owned, But halo 2 is still better.

They need to reinvent the Megaman series just like Resident Evil 4. Give it gorgeous graphics, a more serious tone, and gameplay that is not repetitive, and it'll be a hit.

Not necessarily. What they need to do is one of two things:

a) They can completely revamp the series, hoping to attract the "new-school" kids who are all about the flashy graphics and the 3-Dness.

or

b) They can return to the classic run, jump, slide, and shoot style which will attract the more hard-core fans such as me.
