Staredit Network -> StarCraft Editing Related -> Super Mac OS X MPQ

Long story short StarFire works, but I hate the MPQ and Emerald doesn't work, but I love that MPQ. When I try to run StarEdit Emerald OS X it just opens and then immediately exits. I used the Carbon install so I have no "Starcraft Mac Patch". I can run Emerald on OS 9 since it doesn't require me to run Starcraft only Staredit, but that's a pain to switch OS's. If someone has the programming knowledge can they fix SE Emerald OS X because as far as I know it doesn't work for anyone. It might have been the 1.12 patch that ruined it? Or maybe it doesn't work with the Carbon install? Or if someone (nuclearrabit I'm thinking of you) is able to create their own StarEdit Emerald type thing I know of the perfect settings.

[center]StarEdit will always have to start in OS 9... I believe that you can have OS 9 running while you're on your X OS. OS 9 should start up when you start a classic application, or when you tell it to start in your system prefs.
If you want to use a different MPQ in any patcher application, you just have to replace it's normal MPQ with the new one, but make sure the new one's named exactly the same as the old one. Just right click the application bundle, and look around for a MPQ file to replace, and it should work fine.

I've tried replacing the MPQ file, but I think the Emerald editor needs to change the EditLocal file too, thereby making it not work. I don't think OS 9 StarEdit Emerald will work under Classic.
