I just got this game and let me tell you, it is breathtaking. I am stunned that the ps2 can handle these amazing graphics and not sputter at all. The look, feel and atmosphere of the game in incredible. I do have to say that this is the hardest and most frustrating racing game i have EVER played. But it is a simulation more than a regular video game. The world is so big and there is so much detail. For example when you start the game you have to buy a used car. There are details on each car and it goes into such specifics as mileage and insane stuff like that. Or when you hit a bump or make a turn the driver's head wobbles and bobs. I havent gotten to play it for more than like an hour and I am only working on my license now and let me tell you I wanted to blow up because of the difficulty. There is one part where you are in a parking lot filled with cones and you must make it to the end without hitting one and brake perfectly in the end zone in less than 11 seconds. Took me 30 minutes =/. So far my favorite part of the game has to be rally. It is so elite. Like the feel i get from the rally races is amazing. The physics and graphics make you feel like you are in an actual rally race. The sliding and drifting and hitting jumps and bumps. The sound of air rushing below your car. Its absolutly wonderful!! Sometimes I go totally off course because I'm distracted by the beauty of the cars. I rate it 9/10. GET. THIS. GAME.

Forza Motorsport

I don't even know what that is. Enough said. If it is a game, it can't be compared to Gran Turismo. GT is known as the best and most accurate simulation racer there is. Noting compares =D.

Forza Mortorsport is the "Gran Turismo Killer" for the X-Box. It's just another Killzone compared to Halo for racin.

Gran Turismo has more cars, more physics, more modes, more graphics, more races, more tracks and much more. Forza Mortorsport just has online, cars with damage, and tire marks on the road. Gran Turismo is definately the better game.

Thanks for filling me in. I do wonder why online wasn't inclued in Gran Turismo 4 but I don't think its THAT much of a big deal. Most of my friends have this game and I can just bring my memory card to their house and poon them. I don't pay for internet gaming anyways so no big loss to me. See Forza lacks in that. If I had Forza Motorsports I would have no way to show my cars off and play with my friends...unless I brought my entire xbox to their house but I still wouldn't be able to put their cars against mine. Unless there is some kind of system link feature in the game. Is there?

Internet for PS2 is free, as long as you have a router, a network adapter, and a cord that connects network cables.

So all games for ps2 are free? Even Final Fantasy 11?!?!!?! OMG AWESOME. Too bad I have dialup =p.

No, Games that are only online aren't free. Only ones that are both online and offline. Example: NBA Street V3

Oh damn. I just read an article about Gran Turismo 4 and why it doesn't have internet. They said that they wanted the game to come out before Christmas and internet playability would take too long. Hmmm, too bad they missed their deadline anyways O_o.

I don't see how Forza is better when it hasn't even come out yet. It's true that it may have online play, but GT4 is already impressive with graphics, number of cars and lots of tuning. Even as a cube owner, I am envious of this game, especially with the wheel.
