I drew a SEN logo like 30 minutes ago. Reason? Philosophy class.

I'll try scanning it ASAP and give it to Wintermute so he can photoshop it and show Mike to see if it could fit on the site. If you want a small idea, it's a little like SC:L's logo.

Damn, that DA is awesome, although It seems a little too... solid. It's my fave of them all.
Then comes the... err... is that a dragon? I can't tell... it's odd.
I can't tell what the thing on the far right is(that looks... sideways??), and I don't care much for the Zealot and Marine. I don't care much for the fuzzy style and the huge size. When I draw, my pictures are usually only a few inches, at max except when they've got backgrounds. I suck at backgrounds. When drawing, I don't do things that I suck at. Well, I suck particularily bad at them. Anyway...
Those look fun to color in.
Could you do a full-body-Zealot about to slice an airborne Zergling or something in half? That'd be cool! B)

BTW here's the REAL logo. Cuz, you know, the one Andrew posted was a FAKE!! IT REALLLY WAS!! I know it's hard to beleive but.... Anyway... If you see some pale drawing at the back, it's cuz I drew this on the back of my school squedule xD

I never color originals. I understand the coloring-messing-up-pictures too, but sometimes it's possible to get lucky. That coloring problem is whyI hate any assignment at school that includes drawing, pictures, or similar... we, for some reason, always have to color them. I can understand when we're doing something like painting in Art, but otherwise, I find it unnacceptable.
I have a horrible(yet my best \:) picture somewhere on my computer. I think I'll attach it sometime. It may suck, but as it's my best, I kinda like it...

Oh, and BTW that gap in the tail is because it's holed paper, and I foolishly decided to draw at the edge. Oh well. Just less work that could potentially, somehow, make it worse than it is ^

What's sad is there are people(my age) that I've seen worse drawings from.
Like someone I knew covered one of his folders with 9-year-old-like pictures of blades. They looked more like 7 year-old, actualy, 'cause they were hardly better than anything I ever tried to draw in Kindergarten.
And I won't mind too much if you delete it (=

And besides, my picture may not be anywhere even NEAR good, but atleast it's not horrible or anything. Most drawings by people my age(that I see) draw about that well. I'm not sure about my age group in general though, so it don't matter much.

Okay...Here's some more versions. Note that the edges look a lot better now, and that I have the following versions:

1) Original
2) Brushed metal texture for the light parts
3) The wavy texture

Any other suggestions?

NOTE: The wavy texture was removed, because the total file sizes would be too high to upload. I'll get it later.

This sucks, but oh well.

Here's the final original one for today. I fixed some pencilling errors, and a few mistakes on my part. Here it is in all it's glory:

I'm sure Wintermute's one will be better. Seems like he's spending time on it pixel-by-pixel. No offence Spaceboy, but a logo needs more work than that . That's just a kid drawing; not a Photoshop marvel =)
