How do you put scarabs indepenmdant? Is it possible? Because im making a map with my friend and its pretty original name is Scarab Tag... Anyways, in X-tra Editor, they dissapear, can you make them NOT dissapear and create some in a Location without any reavers?

You need reavers, there is no other way.

Yes, but even dough you have reavers, how can you make them not suicide itself and go anywhere without dissapearing after? I dont know how you can do it, but my friend said that it can be done confused.gif Im pretty screwed up in the brain now

yea just do the tutorial. putting a reaver next to a placed scarab doesnt do anthing... Cause the scarabs dont belong to the reaver, the reaver never built them... if the game was like that then u could have 2 reavers passing each otehr in game (one has 2 and one has 3 scarabs) and the one with 2 sucks the other 3 into its own ownership... so just do the tutorial... wink.gif

Remember that spell in that map Deathknights 3 where it made a lot of reaver shots and they like bounced off of walls and stuff and they didn't have the 'reaver shot glow'. Maybe he could do it that way.

I think he was talking about getting the scarab to "never explode" as in roam around forever, without exploding. I don't know, but try using set doodad state on it. I personally don't know how to get scarabs lasting an infinite time.

no, i think they blow up after going a certain distance/time. because, have you ever seen one get stuck? after awhile it just blows up.

Yes, I was talking about that, but then it explodes after it touches the Probe to tag it and destoy it... confused.gif
