So I'm gonna get a laptop, tho I'm not sure about what are the best settings for one at the USA, so, whoever knows what's the best (means -> many GB, high RAM and DDR, etc) laptop that is sold in the US, please tell.

512 mb ram
video card that supports all the games ive currently installed on it (incl. half life 2)
have cd writer
i think its 2.8 Ghz or something
4 hours life battery
and its only 2 kg ^_^
However, I'm not quite sure about the laptop standards in US
