I hate it when people don't read.

SCMDraft is still in it's Beta stages. It's not supposed to be good right now.
It has a Trigger editor but I wouldn't recomend using it because it is buggy.

I know of only 1 bug in the trigger editor, which was reported earlier this week.

The trigger editor is spartan, but I wouldn't call it buggy.

Would that be the misspelt word or what?

It different, but if you prefer mass typing, its easy to use.

no, an actual bug not a spelling error. I'm working on fixing it for the next internal release tho.

You realise you're getting yourself into an on-going debate about the best Editor now...

SI, im not sure if this has been covered but i'll ask anyway.

What kind of trigger editor are you planning on doing?

Will it be like the trigger editor in the X-tra Editor? Or will it be like Starforge where you type the commands?

I think you should make the typing commands, if you did that your editor will pwn everything. Except how SF has brushes and the square terrain is easier to place.

But anyways, keep up the great work!

All of your questions would be answered if you would stop slacking and start reading actual threads.

DW is making trigedit, the first version can already be downloaded.
Its purely text based trigger editor, the next version will get a much nicer interface but the basic text should stay the same.

You can grab it in the downloads topic...

Ahh.. I love Mass typing.
Anyways, I'm just getting used to SCM Draft Trigger Edit, and I think you should keep it. It's my opinion though.. soo

How about this. Have both the current trig editor and an SCXE like editor in the next SCMD. Also, try to make the terrain placing easier, that window for placing square terrain is a bit annoying.

The ability to have the SCXE and SCMDraft version of Trigger Editors would take a huge amount of time, just use them at different times.

You won't have to worry about placing terrain in the next version. With the exception of brushes, that is.

sure, you code a SCXE style trigger editor as a plugin and I'll add it to the plugin download list. biggrin.gif
