i suck so bad when i comes to UMS, im a noober.
1. what the hell are independent units on starforge, like the independant starport or independant command center

2. how do you stack stuff, like 10 hatcheries?

1. Units that crash the game if a players sees them. Don't use them except for "anti map-hack" or something.

2. Use an editor like SCMD2 or Starforge. They allow you to stack units.

oh, holy crap, i just realized that if you right click on starforge, it allows you to stack... see? i suck at making UMS maps

Or just click in the exact same spot to place a unit again. tongue.gif
Also, the independant units are bad to use as anti-hacks, some hacks have found ways to work around them.

Use sprites located in the Sprite Layer, Crashes SC folder.

I used to be like Yenku (parts of me are still that way, as in I sucked at UMS and wonder how the heck all these (U) experts make all these things).

To stack with scmdraft, go to tools(or is it options already), options, and check whichever you want. This allows mins and gas near command centers, hatchies, and nexuses, and theres allow stack, allow any terrain(you can place any unit anywhere(as in on water and on cliffs)), buildings do NOT stack to grid, units DO stack to grid, and all these other things
