Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Unit Specs
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2004-01-26 at 12:23:36
There are always the normal specs of units you can get to, such as hitpoints, energy, names, ect. ect. Then there are those specs such as weapon name, and max hits and such. Is there a way to mess with those? Also can you add a RANGE to a units attack? (I'm trying to get it so a Zealot has a ranged attack)

Also: I'm attempting to make a HALO Campaign. Any ideas or tips are welcome! :-D
Its a campaign, not a RPG. Thought I'd throw that in too.

I don't think they will find much that way; the best option is for me to tell them where to go?

Campaign Creations
(Starcraft Programs; look on the list.)
Shadow Flare's Realm
(Downloads; look on the list.)
Soveriegn Modding Empire
(Starcraft Downloads; look on the list.)

Those three will have all the information you need and try the first and last forum boards for tips on usage and possiblities.

Stormcoast Fortress
(This has a tutorial as well as an old list on possible sites to visit.)
Star Alliance
(Has advice on usage and tutorials; good forum board.)

Try those, they have everything you could need, if you need more help message 'Coko' on any of the stated forum boards i am on all of them.

Programs you would need.

Arsenal III - Unit range, max hits, etc.

WinMPQ - To use the modded .dat files from A3 and extract and edit stat_tbl.txt, which contains the text strings used in the game.

StarEXEHack - Optional, if you don't want to modify your default StarCraft files... IE, you can copy StarCraft.exe and point the copy to Your_Mod.mpq
