... ... Wow. It's uncannily accurate.
Made my night.... a few laughs here and there.. but then it became a runon and got boring until i closed it.
Funny, but none of that is true (except for the film editing part at the start). I've never had an application crash or a problem shutting down or anything else he claims (and I've been using Macs for many years)...
I had the same response as Devlin.
I was also confused as the guy was just going on about problems commonly encountered with Windows machines and then trying to apply them to the Mac. Lock ups? Freezes? They don't happen on OS X, so what is he talking about?
The only program that has ever frozen my machine is Microsoft Word. Stupid Microsoft products.
The 'Shortcuts on the Desktop' part was accurate though. I was surprised and annoyed with OS X for that.
But 90% of it isn't true, unless you've just switched from Windows, in which case I'd have to agree that Macs are probably a pain to get used to.
This guy is a complete dumbass, probably using one of the old, craptastically out-of-date operating systems, like OS 6.1, or something.
Barely any of that is true, and the things that are true can only be done, if you mean to do them.
The only thing that's ever crashed on me is gAy-OL, and that wasn't unexpected. I felt like killing this guy halfway through the thing, he's doesn't diserve to remain in the gene pool.
Isn't it ironic that the Mac users (who you'd think would know more about Macs than PC users) say this isn't true while PC users defend it? I think there's some denial going on here.
I'm a PC user with a mac (!! yeah I can't believe it either !!) and I have to say most of those problems happen with PC. I have had iMovie crash on me randomly for some god forsaken reason and I don't like the making alias/duplicate thing. Other than that I got no problems with mac except FOR THE GOD DAMN

ING 1 BUTTON

ING PIECE OF

ING SHIT DAMN MOUSE!! That's why I have a PC. I can't stand that 1 button mouse thing for SC.
Uhh... Try attaching your 2 button mouse to your mac, it should work just like it does on your PC...
The copying from disc thing is easy to fix, just copy/paste the actual file to your desktop. Quite easy.
If you're going to attach a two-button mouse, hold option while you start up Starcraft and check the box that says "Use a Two Button Mouse".
Macs can get viruses. It's just that the people who make viruses only attack PC users because that is the majority of the computer users. Same with Interet Explorer and Firefox.
I could not hear anything because my speakers are messed up

Trying to fix them now...

i know that!
so that means they cant get viruses.... anyway its pratically impossible with the safety programs mac has anyway...
i gotta tell u something funny. One time i was looking thru mail and optonline was telling me there was something wrong with something and to click the attachment. i did. nothing happnd.
Later i went on to optonline and it had a big huge post that said people impersenating the optonline tsaff were sending emails to people teling them somthing was wrong and to click on a virsus...
MY COMP-- UNAFFECTED
DIG THAT PC LOVIN MAC HATAZ!!
It is true that Macs are Unix-based so are more secure overall than Windows PCs, but Kaboom has a point about people only making viruses for the majority market.
If I used computers for gaming (primarily), then I'd probably own a PC as well as a Mac.
I have a PS2 though, so I'm happy enough without a PC, although I do get the occasional strategy game for the Mac.

okay cool... ive had at least 26 arguements about something similar to this except with PS2 and Xboxes.
Ive done it so many times, the last one i did, i was yelling at the dude. lol. ( i dont mean like

i mean i was like- HOW could u say that about xbox! the only good game it has is the halos! YOU KNOW IT! xbox's other games- are either really bad or ps2 already has it! I want halo but im not gonna buy that hunky machine.)
Guys, this flash is as old as the OS before OSX. When OSX was released a ton of the common mac problems were resolved (including my favorite: MADMAC).
OS 9 sucked alot, and in comparison with OS X, it looks like a pile of burning Emlo dolls.
There are, I think, 7 known viruses for mac. None of them destroy files, just rename application identifiers, and infect PC users when you email them. Macs can get viruses, but can barely be affected.
That was hilarious... it reminds me of all the out of date computers my school uses... they always lock up at inconvienent times... I hate how there's no real backspace key and the mini delete key doesn't actually delete thinks just the basic delete text thing and you have to use the 2nd delete key where the back space bar is on a pc to do it... but whatever... I do love my iPod.
Pretty old and Macs aren't as bad as he says!
Lol I cracked up when I saw that. I just really don't like Macs. We got these noob macs at my school, which are getting replaced by dells haha. But they are really queer. Theres like two kinds. The one with the like toolbar thing at the top and its more similar to windows somewhat. And then theres the "newer" one with like this one icon thing at the bottom where you can like blow it up and scroll through programs or whatever. I really have no idea what it is, too flashy for me. I hate have to hold down the mouse button and scrolling.
lmao just the way he said everything was hilarious.
That's why people just plug in 2 button mice. Jesus, I can't believe you people complain about the mice when they have nothing to do with the actual computer.
omg plug in a double key mouse u fools!!! i have one on my imac!!!
anyway nukerabbit is right. the old one is quite crappy, but the new ones kick...
I <3 My PC!! =)
But Macs are better!
GO MACS WOOHOO!
