Well, "AI" stands for Artificial Intelligence. The AI of a computer player tells the computer at what difficulty to play, to enter bunkers or dropships, to move to a certain location, as well as other things. It basicaly tells player's units in Starcraft what to do. (Im sure someone else can explain it to you better)
I wouldn't suggest making AI scripts because it takes some major programming. But you can find the AI scrips (I'm thinking you mean in Staredit) under the action "Run AI Script" and "Run AI Script at Location".
Heres a tutorial on some AI Scripts:

Im not sure I can be of more help. You could probably understand AI scripts better if you fooled around with them in the game.

I used to not be able to do AI. I would make the location they would build in and everything... thats all wrong... When you set AI script on a location. MAKE SURE that the location is only their command center or hatchery or Nexus!

So you set the AI script to like-- terran custom normal on the location '*ugh'

*ugh must only be the size of that command center and only covering that persons command center. Then he is a comp!

We have tutorials that describe them!

http://www.staredit.net/index.php?tutorial=23
http://www.staredit.net/index.php?tutorial=22

Read one then the other. Do you still need help after that?

ai scripts are very simple, it includes many different difficulties and commands, you can order units to attack to a location or move to a location and stuff like that, or you can make a base build stuff.

Doesn't look like spam to me. Why don't you just let moderators do their job?

AI scripts basically are scripts that tell the computer what to do! Without AI scripts, the computer is practically like a Neutral player!

What if you have more than 1 command center. Do you need to make a location over them all and then make an action "AI Scropt at location" for them all?

You can only run one base AI script per computer. Running multiple ones will essentially make a dumb computer that does almost nothing or nothing.

I doubt he even looked at this thread more than after he posted it up. He would have posted sooner than this...becuase it seems, usually, that when you need help you need it NOW, and you check your thread a lot becuase you want to get working again. At least thats what I do when I post a thread here (Only two of them biggrin.gif).

...And, sckor, if you attack a computer that is just standing there it will attack back or run, depending on what unit it is. If it's neutral...it just stands there. (I think wink.gif)

Usually I'd leave a post like that alone.
But I've seen too much of it today.
If it doesn't contribute, don't post it.
